I agree. I got saved 3 months ago. I went through trauma last year and still recovering. My life has changed so much and is so much better since I cried out to God.

Next man I meet would be friends first, see how things go and no sex before marriage. How many men will these days will agree to that? 🤔
hi ash1234, i'm married. my guess is 5%. blessings to you & i wish for you to find the right Christian man. no rushing in the next relationship. no 2nd guessing either or dreaming. those characteristics lead to false hope which can lead to trouble.

This YouTube is not bad, interesting.
One thing I agree, no choice is the best.

Once there are many choices, then there comes disaster.
It's never about "choice", but cultivation. It's like sewing a piece of garment - or even just modifying one, versus picking and buying one in a department store. That's the delusion in dating, the search for this perfect "soul mate", with about only a century's history.

Agree soul mate is more of romantic novels and Hollywood movies.
Once married, the couple should work together to become each other's good friend, or peaceful friend.

But I am not against a single man and single woman meeting in public setting, in broad day light.

Some people that I know, they do this non exclusive meeting, just pure friendship. If both interested, they attend biblical counciling, the pastor will function as an elder to help them to see if 2 are compatible to marriage.

It's a privilege for those who have the leisure time and energy for this, and you need to have a couple willing to commit, good luck with that. This is investment for a lifetime.

Lifetime, yes absolutely, in my close circle, all life time commitments.

It is a blessing to follow God.

In addition, marriage is more about holiness than happiness. Church should teach people about this.

Or perhaps the church should teach people about overarching biblical narrative, modern day false idols, end time prophecies, spiritual warfare, more relevant than ever before, while leaving marriage as a private for the couples themselves.

Hi Ash, There are “Real” God fearing men who would agree to the principles of the Word of God in how to “Court” a woman without the “BUMP AND GRIND” that’s so normalized in our culture.. Just today I was talking with my Auntie in church today and she says to me I keep thinking one of these days you’ll be walking in church with your wife and children.. Well I said Auntie not everyone’s like you.. But I know that there are Godly wonderful women who are willing to partner with a Godly man.. So stay encouraged my sister and know this: He who BEGAN a great work in you is FAITHFUL TO COMPLETE what He has started… Blessings

Hello Ash. I’m sorry to hear about your trauma. I too have had an awakening and have been saved by God and am in a MUCH better place.

If I can be so honest, I used to be a man that felt sex before marriage was something I sought. Not anymore. Too much focus on sex can bring about unwanted consequences and I have learned that true connection and a bond in faith is much more long-lasting.

I hope you connect with a good man some day that respects and shares your willingness to be patient.

I look forward to hearing progress as it comes :)
