I saw a picture a few days ago of an orange kitty and a gray kitty, something like this:

The orange kitty was named "Mango" and the gray kitty was named "Mushroom" -- and I thought that was just adorable!! 😍

I walked past an apartment today with a fence set up (for containment) with a beautiful white kitty and a kitty with white and orange spots.

The white and orange kitty was meowing and straining to press his little face through the fence, like he wanted to be petted, but I had to refrain.

I love friendly cats and I REALLY REALLY wanted to pet him, but the apartment door was only slightly ajar, and the owners weren't in sight...

I have a personal rule that I won't pet an animal that obviously belongs to someone without their permission.

But I'm REALLY hoping I'll go by sometime when the owners are there, so I can ask if I can pet their beautiful (and seemingly very friendly) little one.

The last time I had a pet, that wasn't a fish, was over 20 years ago. I'm an outside critter person myself (spiders, opossums, woodchucks, lizards, etc.), but back then a cat chose me and I had her from my late teens to my very early 20s. I named her Nermal after the Nermal from Garfield.
Yes, I know that Nermal was a male cat in the cartoon, but in my early childhood I had thought it was a female cat and it was voiced by a woman. So, I named the cat Nermal despite it being a female. When she adopted me, she would jump through my window at night and sleep in my bed. Then she'd go back out the window in the morning. After a few nights of this, she never left.

I heard there is a world-wide Cat Video Fest and showing in cinemas near me!

I told my sister and she grumbled 'oh its just stuff you already see on social media'

But all tickets raise money for cats in need!

She was 'so volunteer or donate, no need to see stupid cat videos you can see for free on social media at home'

grrr.
Also I remind her I don't go on social media. She must be watching cat videos all the time!

Well, if anyone wants to go on a movie or rather a CatVideoFest date with me, please give me a bell.

My cat Dusty watches TV when there's birds on it.

I wonder if there will be a BirdVideoFest for cats to watch. We could bring our cats to the cinema.

My mum always used to watch Animal Planet tv. It's channel that had exclusively shows starring animals and of course it had a lot of cat ones. I have not watched it in a while as mum no longer here and dad hogs the tv watching cricket (the game, not the insects) all the time.

Do they make that little chirppy sound when watching birds on TV?
That is so cute.

I'm not so much a bird-watcher myself I prefer watching fish swim around. It is very hypnotising to me, and calming.

My cat was watching some mandarin ducks. She usually does not make much noise unless I pick her up and squeeze her like a squeezy toy and out comes a meow..

I'd turn on an aquarium fish channel, but my cat would likely make a leap at the screen. I don't need my TV to take a dive.😆

My cat sits in the picture window and watches the birds . Their eyes get so wide like they're hypnotized. Then they make these little cat chirpy sounds. It's like they're trying to talk to them.

I'm behind glass. I can't eat you. Come closer.🐦🐦‍⬛😸

The cat that occupies my back yard killed a bird so hard and so many times that it wasn't even a bird anymore. I remember picking it up and thinking "where did he get a prune from?".

I'd prefer it if cats would catch rodents more. Like rats and mice.
Leave the birds alone! Stop being jealous just because they have wings and you don't!
