Yes, the Doctrine of Christ and not the doctrine of Moses

2 John 1:9
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

People trying to follow the doctrine of Moses do not have salvation according to 2 John 1:9

No where in the New Testament did Jesus or His Apostles teach that Christians should observe just one day as being holy unto, the Lord.

Under the New Covenant we have been bought with a price we are not out own so we are expected to glorify the Lord in our bodies every day of our lives abiding in Him until we leave this life.
Do not forsake gathering.

Jesus never taught to not kill animals to cover sin so should we be doing that as well?

And how do you explain that the New Testament lacks instructions requiring Christians to observe Saturday?

The NT provide a ton of instructions as well as warnings for not following God's instructions.

You are adding to the New Testament what it does not say.

Do people who do not observe Saturday sabbath go to hell???
He did not have to. John the baptist call Him, "the lamb that taketh away the sins of the world"
Isa 53 proclaimed this. Daniel, the apostles taught this.

Heb 4:1-11 shows a command to keep the 7th day sabbath.
Can't you read/study just 12 verses for yourself?

Do not forsake gathering.

And the New Testament does not make any commandment concerning what day Christians are required to gather.

We meet on Sundays since the Apostles started having services on Sunday which is in the New Testament.

Heb 4:1-11 shows a command to keep the 7th day sabbath.
Can't you read/study just 12 verses for yourself?

It makes no such command.

If what you are saying is true then the Apostles must have been led by satan to have church services on Sunday.

Hebrews 4:8 - For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Sorry bud, Saturday doesn't cut the mustard under the New Covenant

Do a survey of the epistles and find a statement by Peter, James, or John affirming or exhorting the Weekly Sabbath.

Edit: When Jesus commanded his apostles to teach others to "observe all that I commanded you, he was not talking about the Ten Commandments." He is talking about HIS teaching, such as the Sermon on the Mount.
FInal EDIT: you are really of bad faith, all that he taught means ALl! everything he said and did it is why we have matthew, mark, luke and John.

don't forget john in revelations does speak of the commandments! I guess you ignore that too. even Paul spoke of the commandments that they were holy and just.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, that keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:

you certainly don't keep the testimony of Jesus since you reject firmly what he said. the sabbath is part of the commandments and we have text saying to keep them throughout the bible.

The "doctrine" of Moses was more concerned with animal sacrifices, temple services, feast days, yearly holy days. Patterns/types/symbols for the coming of Jesus.
Jesus gave the 10 commandments from Mt. Sinai and wrote them on tablets of stone Himself.
He even spoke the words out loud from the top of the mount for all the people to hear.

Moses was given instructions for the temple and sacrifices, etc. the SECOND time he went up into the mount.
And he wrote those things in a book which the bible calls the "handwriting of ordinances".

Two separate laws.

BTW Jesus' commands to love God and love your neighbor were not new commands. That's OT as well

Deut 6:5 "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
Lev 19:18 & 34 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD... But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself..."

But, since these are OT commands, you must think this is under the law of Moses. Right?
I mean both of those book were written by him. Or at least a scribe was hired under Moses' employ to write them down if Moses did not actually have the time to write them himself.
Obviously the last chapter of Deuteronomy could not have been written by Moses' own hand.

Yes, keeping Sunday as a day of rest is pagan in origin.

Why do you keep leaving verses 4 and 10 out of the context of Heb 4:1-11?

Never mind, I'll tell you why. Keeping them in the context means the text is actually talking about the 7th day sabbath which makes verse 11 a direct command from Paul to keep that rest.

And you don't like what the bible says. It goes against everything you have been taught and could even lead to you getting booted out (anathema) from your church. Proclaimed to be a Judaizer, heretic, blasphemer.

God's people have been killed since Cain and Abel for such things...

But this is the final test in the last days. Obedience to God or follow man's laws that go against what God has commanded.

Yes and 9 of the 10 are repeated in the New Covenant under the Law of Christ with the command about the sabbath being upgraded to abiding in Christ now that we can be born again and translated from darkness in to the Kingdom of God's Dear Son

It's too bad the sabbatarians don't understand the new covenant and are still trying to so sabbath like they did under the old covenant have rejected the upgrade Jesus Christ has brought forth under the Law of Christ. Too bad in deed.

Two separate laws.

And the sabbatarians keep trying to live under the old law of Moses rather than embracing the New Covenant and the law of Christ.

But, since these are OT commands, you must think this is under the law of Moses. Right?

Fake news. We are under the Law of Christ, well at least I am

I mean both of those book were written by him.

And God said He was going to make a new covenant which is what Jesus came to do is take away the old so He could establish the new and with it the law changed so not the sabbath is much more that your little dinky one day a week thing.

Why do you keep leaving verses 4 and 10 out of the context of Heb 4:1-11?

Those verse do not command anybody to go to church on Saturday as the sabbatarians suppose.

And you don't like what the bible says.

Hey, I'm not one of them sabbatarians who keep trying to convince everyone to live under the law of Moses. That's your department which is not going well at all and definitely won't be working when sabbatarians stand in judgement before the Lord having rejected the Law of Christ in favor of trying to live under Moses.

God's people have been killed since Cain and Abel for such things...

Are you sabbatarians planning on trying to take over?

Obedience to God or follow man's laws that go against what God has commanded.

That's exactly what the sabbatarians are doing having rejected the Law of Christ in favor of trying to live under Moses.

Churches during Covid proved that's no longer necessary.

So God retracted what He said during the scamdemic about Christians should not forsake the gathering of ourselves and it's all good now to go ahead and forsake the gathering of ourselves?

One lesson learned during the scamdemic was it became very easy to tell who the fake Christians were.

They were the ones closing their churches down

The sabbath is Saturday, not Sunday and it's not any day of the week you wish it to be. It's the 7th day as God said in Genesis and was never changed until Constantine wanted to merge the worship of the sun god Ra on the "day of the sun" ie: Sunday.

Following the law in general has benefits. You get blessings. There is also a literal blessing tied to following the sabbath:

“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.” - Isaiah 58:13-14

But not following it is still a sin considering its part of the 10 commandments.

Here's a list of verses that show Paul and the disciples still honored the sabbath:
Luke 23:56, Acts 13:14, Acts 13:42-44, Acts 16:13, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4, Acts 18:11

I don't see a Covid exception for meeting together, but most churches did it anyway. Online church is sufficient. Communion alone is sufficient. That's what was proven.

You are twisting my words around to make them seem to say something I have not.
And I'm pretty sure you know that's what you are doing.
Anyone reading this transaction between you and me can see this.

I have given references, perspectives, biblical points of view but you just don't like what the bible teaches.
I give you back to your Papa.

Say a few Hail Marys, Lord's prayers and do a couple acts of contrition.
Oh! And don't forget the put some money in the church coffers either. I think you still have loved ones in Purgatory. Only a priest can get them out. For the right price of course....

Good for uou. Stand against the opposers.

This community abounds with adversarial spirits.

And yet you failed to show direct commands from the Lord and His Apostles in the New Covenant requiring Christians to have church on Saturday

And you failed to show warnings given by the Lord and His Apostles in the New Covenant that tell us not having church on Saturday is a sin and what happens to people who do not have church on Saturday

Galatians 4:9-11 - But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

Romans 14:5 - One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.”

Counsel of Jerusalem in Acts 15
The Saturday peoples can never overcome the Counsel of Jerusalem in Acts 15 where the Lord did NOT lead them to include observing Saturday sabbath... unless the Saturday peoples want to claim the Apostles were being led by devils in the Book of Acts and not being led by the Lord.

If they say the Apostles were being led by the Lord at the the Counsel of Jerusalem, then they must accept the Apostles teachings as being from the Lord.... and accept observing Saturday sabbath is not applicable under the New Covenant.

But, if they don't accept the Apostles teachings as being from the Lord at the Counsel of Jerusalem then the Saturday peoples must concede that they believe the Apostles were listening to devils which is why they did not teach the people about observing Saturday sabbath.

Acts 15:28,29 - For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

The Saturday peoples apparently do believe the Apostles in the Book of Acts were being led by devils.
