a top reason that is, is because once the child arrives, then there's a massive realization that all the parent's time is gone, if you are a real parent! you have to sacrifice your life, just about, to care for a child.

I think people don't want to because if the child lives and has no parent(s) its worse for the child being an orphan, and then someone else has to look after them.

If the child is sacrificed, then the mother/father can have a life either without child or maybe they can have another one later on when they are both ready. IDK that's just the way it seems.

I'm not judging, right or wrong that's just life.

I know a lot of children that don't have parents, or they had grandparents/aunties or uncles or big siblings looking after them. Or they get fostered. Or solo mum. You get all kinds in school.
 
I think whats really sad is when parents have a child they never wanted and the child grows up knowing their parents resent them and hate them for being born.

They then either run away from 'home' or try to harm themselves. Because nobody cares about them.
