The reason higher interest rates helped bring down Biden induced inflation is because raising rates took money out of the economy that had been flooded into it without an increase in economic expansion. It is self correcting, for the most part, once wars end or other routes are established to move energy. It's the weakness of most capitalist economies. Australia's Labor party is socialist, somewhat like the Democrats in America. The Labor treasurer in 1990 pushed interest rates to 17.5%. I was in industrial sales then. I was calling on companies, only to find the doors locked and the business shut down. One time, the buyer was walking out the door as I walked in. He had been retrenched. Since there was less business, my sales were way down and I lost my job too.

One commentator described it as burning down the house to get rid of the rats. The people who make these decisions never suffer themselves.

The current energy issues push me towards an EV for my next vehicle, if I decide to replace what I have. Vast numbers of Aussies are thinking the same way.

"Plaintiff Michael Null informed police that his minor 13 year old daughter, M.R.N., was alone at home. The government went to Michael Null’s home to execute the search warrant, and pulled a gun on M.R.N. when she attempted to put her cell phone in her pocket. M.R.N. was handcuffed and detained for hours while police searched Michael Null’s home.

While Plaintiffs were in custody, and detained, the government went to William Null’s home, and again drew their guns on grandpa, who is hard of hearing, for not walking fast enough in their direction. The police shouted they would 'put him down like a dog' if he did not comply. Plaintiffs’ minor children were handcuffed for hours during the search. An aunt arrived to remove the children from the premises, and the police required her to leave because 'no minors were on site.'

During the search of Plaintiffs’ homes, the government caused as much damage as possible. It certainly appeared unnecessary and intentional. Doors were kicked in, drywall was removed, a car was run over by the government’s mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicle, MRAP, causing $18,000.00 in damage to Plaintiff’s car.

Plaintiffs, construction workers, lost significant business while their case was pending, and their business, Null Building and Remodeling, was destroyed by the brand 'domestic terrorist.'"

What to expect if Dems win

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey defending the DCF's removal of a Catholic couple's 15-year-old daughter nearly two years ago, framing it as state overreach against parents refusing to affirm the child's transgender identity.

The parents, Joseph and Arlene Kutzko, claim the removal followed school counseling on gender without their knowledge and led to the teen being housed in a boy's dormitory, offered birth control and psychiatric drugs, while denied Sunday Mass.

Healey stated on September 16, 2026, that the action was based on criminal charges against the parents, not gender affirmation, though the parents' attorney says those charges were later found unfounded with no abuse determinations.

The parent’s attorney, however, told the Boston Herald that Healy is misrepresenting the facts and that the charges were deemed unfounded in court last year.

“It’s very dishonest, because there are no standing charges against them. There is no finding that these parents have committed any abuse against this child in the criminal court, nor is there any supported allegations of abuse or neglect against them, even in the juvenile court. So, no, that is, that is pretextual to whatever it is,” said Attorney Vernadette Broyles.

“What happened is that some unknown person, it is not on the pleadings that I could see. It’s an unknown adult who hired an attorney for Sophie and assisted her to go to Marlborough District Court to get a restraining order against the parents,” Broyles explained. “First of all, why are you seeking this when the juvenile court has jurisdiction? This child is out of the home. Why do you even need a restraining order? Why does she need a restraining order? DCF has her.”

Trash Trump? I've said a number of times that he is a great supporter of Israel and I commend him for that. I don't need to trash Mr Trump. He is well able to do that all by himself. The present world seems unable to see anything in terms other than black and white. I'm old enough to believe that there are nuances that are important.

Sir Winston Churchill said that democracy is the worst form of government. Except for any other form of government. I agree. Only the government of Christ in His coming Kingdom will be perfect. Until then, the rulers of the world are human and fallible. It is God who makes nations great, not Mr Trump.​

The man isn't well. It's clear he never matured as a man and is now an immature adolescent in a man's body. He'll never respond as a mature adult because it's impossible for him to do so. It would be like asking a five-year-old to respond as a mature man would. There should be consequences for his war crimes but sadly there won't be; at least not in this life.

One need to humble himself before God and seek God's guidance.
Who is around him is also important.
Nathaniel was brave enough to deliver God's rebuke to David. May God raise up leaders like Nathaniel.
