Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Those that are in the first resurrection, raised just prior to the millennium, will reign with Christ a thousand years, and the second death has no power over them.

Rev 20:5 (But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.) This is the first resurrection.

The rest of the dead refers to the second resurrection, and those mentioned in Ezekiel 37 who will be fighting with Gog of Magog.

It seems quite clear. Can't understand why you can't see it.
Rev 20
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

No resurrection there
The living are gathered.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death

Resurrection and GWTJ is AFTER THE BATTLE you are referring to.

I'm not sure I understand what you're implying. Here's how I see it.

  • Universal Pilgrimage: People from all over the world will go up to the mountain of the Lord to learn His ways and walk in His paths, as the law and the word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem.
  • Mandatory Attendance: According to Zechariah, survivors from all nations that attacked Jerusalem will be required to go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, specifically to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
  • Topographical Change: The city will be elevated above all other hills, creating a physical ascent for pilgrims that symbolizes the holiness and authority of God’s rule.

I was saying just because you find the words high mountain, it does not necessarily mean it is in the latter day.

It doesn't say it is mandatory. It will only be the just that is there, because the rest have been destroyed. This all occurs after the millennium.

There was no living to gather. They were either resurrected to the wedding or they were killed, including the remnant, as found in Revelation 19.

Sure there was. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The bride has become the wife in heaven in Rev 19.
That is before where you are placing it.
Jesus also placed it in heaven at the last supper dialogue.

The virgin parable has the wedding at the rapture, with one taken, one left behind, 50 % removed.
They went immediately to the wedding and the door was shut.

Your model is opposite all that.

I believe my model is scriptural. I must confess your model has me a bit confused.

The setting of the rapture is normal life, everyday life, Commerce, marriage,. Planning for the future.,

So no, your model, being the opposite of that, would not be scriptural

There will be normal life right up until the wedding.
Mat 25 has the RAPTURE happening, and the bride immediately goes to the wedding.
Matthew 24 has the setting.
In both vivid portrayals, Jesus uses half taken.

I also, am a pretrib rapture adherent.
Glad we agree.

Glad we agree.

If you agree with me you will be a first. I do not adhere to any pretrib/posttrib. I do not adhere to any rapture that would differ from a resurrection. We are all appointed unto tribulation, we are not appointed to wrath. The seventy weeks of Daniel are fulfilled, and I agree with the translators of the KJV that the Prince, whose people would destroy the Temple, was the Messiah.

So the AOD is history?
The antichrist is history?
The romans are the people of Jesus?

I don't know what AOD is, there are many anti-Christs, and the Jews are the people of Jesus, and the Jews destroyed the Temple. If you read Josephus, and believe him, you will understand that the Jews were responsible for the destruction of the Temple. Even the translators of the KJV believed the Prince in Daniel 9:26 was Jesus.

Brother, the KJV translators did not believe the prince of Daniel 9:26 was Jesus; they simply translated the Hebrew word nāgîd as “prince,” exactly as they did everywhere else (1 Sam 9:16; 1 Sam 13:14; Dan 11:22), without inserting any Christological interpretation into the text.

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

John warns us that to solve this puzzle takes shrewdness and cleverness! The Roman Emperor we know as Nero Caesar had two common spelling for his name in the first century. One form was Nero Kesar but the Hebrew spelling is Neron Kesar. This is important because some ancient MSS (handwritten manuscripts) instead of using the number 666 have the number 616. If you add up the letter values in Hebrew (that's why it takes shrewdness-most people did not know Hebrew) Neron Caesar (Neron Kaisar) adds up to 666. Neron Kaisar = Nrwn Q(K)sr in Hebrew which used no vowels, was the linguistically correct Hebrew form and is found in the Jewish Talmud, in the writings of the community at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, and other rabbinical writings. No Jew would ever have thought of Nero except as rsq nwrn (Hebrew read left to right). But Nero Caesar (rsq nwr), the other spelling (alternate spellings were very common), adds up to 616, which is exactly the variant reading in a few New Testament Revelation manuscripts for the number of the Beast. Nero

If you own the original translation of the KJV translators you would see that they capitalized Prince in Dan 9:26.

Capitalization in the 1611 KJV is not an interpretive signal —
the printers capitalized hundreds of nouns (Prince, City, Covenant, Mountain, Hosts, Spirit, Glory, even words like River and Wilderness) because early‑modern English used capitalization for emphasis and category, not theology, and the translators themselves explicitly said their marginal notes — not their capitalization — indicate interpretive intent, and in Daniel 9:26 they give no note identifying the prince as Christ; the text still distinguishes two figures: “Messiah shall be cut off” and “the people of the prince that shall come,” meaning the capitalization doesn’t override the Hebrew grammar, doesn’t merge the subjects, and doesn’t create a Christological reading the translators never claimed.

The Nero‑gematria argument collapses the text’s own guardrails, because John never tells you to translate the name into Hebrew, never tells you to use gematria, never tells you to pick a political figure, never tells you to switch alphabets, and never ties the number to Rome — he simply says “it is the number of a man” (Rev 13:18), meaning the number identifies a man, not that the man must be Nero; and the NT never uses gematria to identify anyone, never models gematria as a prophetic method, never instructs the church to decode names by letter‑values, and never treats variant spellings as prophetic clues, so the entire Nero‑616/666 construction is an external linguistic puzzle imported into the text, not drawn from the text.

You are right, and I am wrong on the capitalization. They did capitalize a lot. I should have checked.
