Why do you believe all flesh dies in the goings on in Revelation 19?
(Matthew 24:21-22) "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. {22} And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened."
So the above verses talking about the great tribulation states that IF those days where not shortened No flesh would be saved.. But for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.. Therefore not all flesh shall be destroyed on earth during the great tribulation..
(Revelation 19:15) "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."
The above verse talks of the returning Jesus.. And yeah He will be ending the lives of a lot of people at the battle of Armageddon. But the verse also states He is going to RULE then with a Rod of Iron.. Why would He need to rule them if He has exterminated them all with the sword? Do you think He is going to rule over the resurrected Saints who take part in the first resurrection with a Rod of Iron? Or will He be ruling with an iron rod over those who are still in the flesh serving Him and the returned Saints..
(Revelation 20:4) "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
So the Saints who take part in the first resurrection are Reigning with The LORD Jesus for 1000 years.. So who do you think they are Reigning over if all flesh has been eliminated? If all flesh has been eliminated then they cannot reign over anyone..
Now i will quote Jeremiah 14.. I suggest you read the whole chapter because this portion is only an example of that i am trying to convey..
(Zechariah 14:16-19) "¶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. {17} And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. {18} And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. {19} This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."
Talk about ruling over them with a Rod of Iron... The above passage really looks like the KING the LORD of Hosts ruling over these people from Jerusalem with a Ron of Iron.. Of course the prophecy in Zechariah has not been fulfilled to this day. And cannot be fulfilled until the King of Kings and LORD of LORDS is ruling in Jerusalem..
