There are more connections between Islam and Judeo-Christian history. You are correct that Allah is from the same root as many ancient Hebrew names derived from. For the Hebrews "God" started off as EL which was a name for God across much of the early middle eastern cultures. "In the name of God" is what it actually says....if you are gonna translate don't do it half way...go all out.

And it's a blending of two languages and adding a third to do this.

One moment he's asking for help, next to have God kill his enemies, next to make them aware and save them, and then the next back to destroying their entire lineage. Talk about bi-polar.

Every faith, even the TRUE Faith have those who are extremists. But I agree they say that but it is only asking god to kill the enemy much like David did hundreds of times.

Considering I am good friends with some from Afghanistan and they believe in the God of Abraham like Abraham would have taught Ishmael and his sons from Keturah whom he married after the death of Sarah. Not all people living in the Middle East are Muslim.

Researchers attribute between 56-84 million people have been killed by Christians, mostly in Christian on Christian wars, the Crusades and the "Christianization" of the new worlds. As most killings in the history of Islam were between very small Islamic states there is no data on casualties from their start 1,416 yrs ago. In modern time researchers in several large scale studies have identified about 250,000 deaths between 1979 and current. Of those, 80%-90% were other Islamic people.

Total core membership across all violent groups is estimated to be between 100,000 and 250,000 active fighters globally.

There are approximately 2 billion Muslims in the world, thus radical Islamist comprise 0.000125% of all Muslims.

I'm saying that David was human and his writings exemplify that. You either are in denial of the fact that David wrote he requested God to destroy his enemies or do something like it and other times he wrote about vindicating him. Or you just believe it's normal to pray to God for Him to turn your enemies into dust.

Yes, David is as you say but he still committed adultery and murder and lost his son and needed to be forgiven no matter what praise you wish to bestow upon him.
