Adam and Eve were made physical, immortal, incorruptible.

If that were true then they never would have followed satan and they never would have died spiritually becoming separated from the Lord which is spiritual death

Yes they had a physical body but they were very obviously not immortal or incorruptible.

Again, I wouldn't argue with Paul. He said that no commandment existed until Moses.
No ,rog this is misunderstood.
The Apostle Paul did not teach that no commandments existed until Moses. Instead, Paul Explained that the formal, written code known as the Mosaic Law (the Torah) was not introduced until Mount Sinai.
While critics often point to verses like Romans 5:13—where Paul writes, "sin is not counted where there is no law"—the full context of his letters and broader scripture demonstrates that God’s moral principles and specific commandments were active long before Moses.

1. The Commandment Given to Adam
The very first commandment was given to Adam in the Garden of Eden. God commanded him not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16-17). Adam broke this direct command, which is why Paul notes in Romans 5:14 that death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam

I live in Christ and He lives in me. I am a new creation. I live according to the new covenant,
Christ obeyed the law
Because sin is the transgression of the law.
The sinless righteousness is given by grace, but a transformed heart also obeys the Lord and walks as He walked.

Don't say the Spirit guides you. This is a deception. The Spirit of Satan guides many to deception.

The new covenant states that Jesus writes the law on your heart and we know truth and error by the word.

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

What are the Commandments of God?

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The NT never gives a command to keep the seventh‑day sabbath; it gives a command to enter Christ’s rest. Hebrews 4:11
We both gave our interpretation of these verses.

Just because it talks about rest in Jesus does not mean the sabbath rest is void.

Jesus is our rest
He is our bread of life and the light of the world and the truth.

But does that mean we make the bible, the truth in the word, void

Heb 4:9-10
9 There remaineth therefore a rest "sabbath" to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

As God did= how did God enter into rest and cease from works?

If we obey the above and cease from works AS GOD DID, we will keep the sabbath day rest.

If that were true then they never would have followed satan and they never would have died spiritually becoming separated from the Lord which is spiritual death

Yes they had a physical body but they were very obviously not immortal or incorruptible.
After they ate the forbidden fruit they BECAME mortal and corruptible.
Perhaps you misunderstand the biblical meaning of corruptible. It means to rot away. While alive it means to begin to slowly die physically.
It the case of one who is already dead it refers to the body rotting away, turning back into dust.

Whatever.

But there IS a command in the NT to keep the 7th day sabbath. I have posted it above.
You guys have just ignored what it said.
I believe I posted where ALL TEN of the commandments are shown in the NT.

Turning on a light switch is not in violation of the 4th commandment.
You have obviously never read the command for yourself.
There is NO requirement for Gentile believers to observe the 7th day Sabbath. The only reference in the Bible is in Hebrews. Guess who that was written to. "Hear O Israel" is not, hear O Australia or Britain or even America. Acts 15 and Colossians 2 and a good deal of the NT tells you that the Law does not apply to Gentiles. If you are a Jew, you choose. I am not, and so I choose not to observe the Sabbath.

You legalists can't have it both ways. Moses nearly died because he did not have his son circumcised. That's how seriously God takes it for His old covenant people. Yet Paul, the truest of Jews, said that circumcision is nothing. God does not change. His ways of dealing with humanity do.

There is nothing in the 10 commandments that commands circumcision, or animal sacrifices, or the temple services, or observance of feasts and holidays (also called sabbath days of rest but not the same as the 7th day sabbath of the 4th commandment).

The 4th commandment is still one of the 10. You can't get rid of God's weekly sabbath day of rest without doing away with all 10 commandments.

And the Book of Hebrews was written to Christians NOT to non believing Jews.

If you believe the 10 commandment law does not apply to Gentile Christians then you must believe Gentiles can worship other gods, murder anyone they wish, take their neighbor's wives. These are all precepts of the 10 commandments.

This is anarchy and lawlessness. Is that your idea of Christianity, eternal life in heaven living a life of lawlessness?

Only God has immortality.

1Ti 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Are you a Jew or a gentile?

I do not have Jewish blood but I am a Jew by adoption and through Christ.

I have been grafted into the family.

You can continue to be a gentile and an alien.

Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are no longer strangers, foreigners or servants, but are legally and spiritually adopted into the royal family of the Creator of the universe. This adoption is the result of God's matchless love, bringing us from a state of alienation into a sacred relationship.

Because the human race fell into sin and became "children of wrath," Jesus came to earth specifically to redeem us from the condemnation of the law so that we might be reinstated as His children.

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

It is a marvelous truth that the "Israel of God" is not defined by natural descent, but by a heart connection to Jesus Christ through faith. While the ancient Hebrew nation was chosen to be a witness for God, the Scriptures clearly reveal that the promises made to Abraham are now inherited by all who are "new creatures" in Christ, forming the spiritual Israel that will stand complete at His coming.

Rom 2:28-29
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Just as ancient Israel was given the Sabbath as a sign of their sanctification and relationship with God, spiritual Israel today honors God by keeping His commandments and the faith of Jesus. This obedience is the fruit of their righteousness by faith.

Exo 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

What a privilege it is to know that your lineage is not determined by your birth, but by your rebirth in Jesus Christ! By faith, you are part of the true, spiritual Israel, an heir to every promise and a citizen of the kingdom that shall never end.

The promise was passed down to Ephraim and Manassas which were the grand children of Israel. That promise never ended and is still in effect. Once the kingdom of Israel was split the 10 tribes were captured and eventual dispersed and many went north and to the west. So the real question is? Are you a part of Israel? and not are you Jewish.

If you belong to Christ then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
There is no difference between Jew or Greek (Gentile) if you are a Christian.
We have been grafted onto the nation of Israel even if we do not have the bloodlines from Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.

I am part of Jesus s people.

That's the reason I don't really know what you are advocating.
Cheers.
Read my above posts.
For the most part I supplied biblical references.
Sometimes (not often) I make biblical statements but don't always supply the references.
I assumed that you would already have the biblical knowledge.
Perhaps I was in error making such assumptions.
God's people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Do you need the texts for that? A lack of knowledge is considered by God to be a rejection of knowledge.
In the last days there will be a famine for the word of God. Again do you need that reference too?

Please clearly show your recommendations on how to keep the 4th commandment.
From discussion with you, I don't see your practical recommendations, or anything special.

What does the 4th commandment actually say?
You can read it for yourself in Exo 20:8-11.
It's only 4 verses.
Take it for what it says. Verse by verse, word for word.

Then you can understand my take on it.

Yes, that's why the smart ones abide in Christ and are joint heir with Him giving them access to immortality.

Those not abiding in Christ get the devil's reward - eternal torment in hell.
The bible does not teach eternal torment in hell.
The punishment for sin is death, not eternal life in hellfire.

I read it again.

And we have agreed Jesus says it is fine to do good work.

So as long as one can justify to do work on Saturday, then one does not break the law.
