you mean he came to fulfill it …..right ?

No, He came to do God's will by taking away the old covenant so He could establish the New Covenant as mentioned in the Book of Hebrews. Jesus lived His life never violating not even one of the OT commandments and through that He fulfilled the old covenant laws. There was finally a man (Jesus) that kept the entire OT law with perfection.

Now, there is a new house, the Body of Jesus Christ! Under the New Covenant that the Lord said would come forth, we see Jesus Christ as the High Priest. The old covenant with it’s laws and regulations have been taken away because thru Jesus Christ a new and better covenant has come in to place.

Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Hebrews 8:6 - But now hath Jesus obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12 - For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

That is not earthly, that is in heaven.

Jesus told His disciples that they would see Him return to earth exactly the same way that He ascended to Heaven.

Acts 1:11

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

The Bible tells you that Jesus returns to the Mt. of Olives.

The death of Christ Jesus was the necessary prerequisite to enable the successful launch of the New Covenant.
Both for the mystery Church of THIS age. AND to make the New Covenant available to the Nation Israel.

Indeed, the death of the High Priest is the absolutely necessary precondition for the inevitable redemption of the Sons of Jacob so that they might become viable candidates for the Restoration of the Kingdom to Israel.

The legal paradox surrounding Gomer (Israel), the Law of Moses, and her ultimate redemption centers on Romans 7:1–6, combined with Old Testament prophecy from Hosea and Deuteronomy.

This principle shows how God uses the death of the husband in the New Testament to solve an otherwise legally impossible situation created under the Mosaic Covenant.

1. The Divine Problem: Israel, God, and the Law of Divorce
To understand Paul's argument in Romans 7, you first have to look at the Old Testament marital crisis:

* Israel as the Wife of Jehovah: In Old Testament typology (specifically Hosea 1–3 and Jeremiah 3), Israel is depicted as the wife of Yahweh.
* The Spiritual Adultery (Gomer): Gomer’s unfaithfulness to Hosea mirrors Israel’s idolatry and spiritual adultery against God.
* The Bill of Divorce: Because of her persistent adulteries, God issued Israel a "certificate of divorce" (Jeremiah 3:8, Hosea 2:2).
* The Legal Dilemma (Deuteronomy 24:1–4): Under the Law of Moses, if a man divorces his wife and she goes and belongs to another man, her first husband cannot legally take her back as his wife again after she has been defiled. Doing so was an abomination under the Law.

The Paradox: God promised in the prophets that He would one day remarry Israel in a New Covenant (Hosea 2:19–20, Jeremiah 31:31–34). However, God’s own Law in Deuteronomy 24 forbade Him from taking back His divorced, defiled wife. How could God remain perfectly righteous under His own Law while fulfilling His promise to fully redeem and remarry Israel?

2. Paul’s Legal Solution: The Law of the Husband (Romans 7:1–6)
Paul addresses this exact legal mechanic in Romans 7:1–4:
> "For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband... Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead..."
>
According to Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s commentary on Romans 7 (The Believer and the Law of the Husband):
* Death Breaks the Contract: Marriage contracts under Mosaic Law are binding only until death. The death of either spouse legally dissolves the marital covenant and nullifies the prohibitions attached to it.
* The Husband Dies in Christ: Jesus Christ is Jehovah incarnate. By dying on the cross, the "Husband" of the original covenant legally died.
* The Wife Dies in Christ: Furthermore, Israel (and believers collectively) died positional deaths in Christ.
* Legal Release: Because death occurred, the Mosaic Law’s prohibition in Deuteronomy 24 no longer applies. The old marriage covenant was officially rendered null and void by death.

3. The Full and Final Redemption

Because the former legal relationship was terminated by death, God is no longer violating Deuteronomy 24 when He restores Israel:
* Resurrection Means a New Husband: When Christ rose from the dead, He did so in resurrection life as a "New Husband" (or the resurrected Messiah).
* A New Marriage / New Covenant: Israel—reborn through faith in her resurrected Messiah—is now legally free to enter into a New Covenant marriage with Him without violating the Mosaic Law.
In Hosea 3, Hosea buys Gomer back from the slave block—a picture of price paid for redemption. In Paul's NT doctrine, that redemption is legally codified: Christ didn't just pay a ransom price; He fulfilled and terminated the strict legal constraints of the Law of Moses that kept the divorced wife bound.

The Holy Spirit is currently in our hearts as a placeholder until Jesus returns like He told His Disciples in John 14, specifically John 14:3.

John 14:3

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
That would be step #5.....
Then comes #6 thru #12.
Yes, despite what @HeIsHere blithely opines, the harpazo is quite inevitable.
But only for the mystery Bride Church alone of this present Church Age.

5) The Groom Leaves to Prepare a Place

The groom returned to his father’s house to build a bridal chamber.

He could not return until his father approved the place.

Spiritual meaning
Jesus ascended to Heaven to prepare our dwelling.

“I go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:2

6) The Bride Waits — Not Knowing the Day or Hour

Only the father decided when the groom could go get his bride.

The bride lived in expectation — always ready.

Spiritual meaning
No one knows when Christ will return.

“No one knows the day or hour…” — Matthew 24:36

7) The Groom Comes With a Shout and a Trumpet

When the father approved, the groom went to fetch the bride.

He came at night with:
• a shout
• a trumpet blast
• a procession

Spiritual meaning
This is the rapture signal.

“The Lord Himself will descend with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God…” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16

8) The Bride Is Taken Away (This Is the Rapture)

The bride was lifted up and carried away to the groom’s house.

She did not walk — she was taken.

Spiritual meaning
The Church is caught up.

“We who are alive… shall be caught up together… to meet the Lord in the air.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:17

This is the rapturebefore judgment.

The "ekklesia" is found approx. 100 times in the OT and Christ Jesus used the same word to describe the covenant people of God the NT.

This is some form of hyper-dispensationalism definitely not taught in scripture.

God promised Abraham in Genesis 12:3 that "all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Then we have the Apostle Paul who explicitly and clearly refers to this event in Galatians 3:8, stating that "the Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham."

And yet, those approved by the Lord in the OT were not referred to as the Body of Christ

It is true that John was seeing this temple in a heavenly vision, as he also saw the beast and harlot.
This is the reason that many who attach earthly relevance to these things come to a range of conclusions other than the ones I have expressed, and probably also the reason why many turn to external sources to support their views on the date of writing.

Your references to the temple of God in heaven are also a fair point, yet the earthly temple had existed in better times when it represented the old covenant under the blessing and mercy of God.
It is only after the ministry and resurrection of Jesus that it came to represent a broken covenant to the pharisees and their followers.
It was none the less still "the temple of God" to the one who did not break the law.

Of course I am not saying that John left his vision and Patmos to measure the physical temple, but the vision is prophetic and there is much in 11:1 and 2 that corresponds with the events that have happened.

In v.1 john was also asked to measure "them that worship therein".
In the earthly context that I am considering that would of course be the Pharisees.
What does it mean to measure people?
Some say that it means here to mark them for destruction, and v.2 seems to support that.

The court outside is not to be "measured", because it is given to the Gentiles (Romans in my interpretation), "and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months" ie 3.5 years.

For me that sounds too much like what happened in the first century to ignore, but if there is more to understand from those 2 verses, or if you think I have applied them incorrectly I will respect what you say.
“It is true that John was seeing this temple in a heavenly vision, as he also saw the beast and harlot.”

yes John sees a lot of things happening in earth all I’m saying is the temple being measured is the heavenly one that Ezekiel saw the man measuring when he saw the frame of a city in the highest mountains ect

I’m not saying there isn’t earthly significance at all or even that everything John sees is about events in heaven that’s not my point. Was specific to the temple being measured.

consider that the harlot in chapter 17 is the beautiful woman in chapter 12 who was pursued into the wilderness by the dragon appearing later after she was defiled ……and had worshipped many gods and killed the prophets and those sent to them ect .

a then ask what does the description of the sun moon and twelve stars represent ( see Jospeh’s dream of Israel’s original clan ) and then ask does the ot ever say that jeruswlem eas a beautiful woman clothed and made so by god ? And do the same prophecies say she became a whore and would be judged as an adulterer because of her many fornications ?

the imagery we’re seeing is all laid out in the ot prophets it interprets itself throughout the book

Yes very interesting.
transition from beautiful wife to harlot has deep metaphorical meaning.

Yeah, those whoring after the world (walking after the flesh) are rejecting the Lord for the harlot

Proverbs 30:12 - There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

This describes the end times so called church

Yes very interesting.

Yes there are two groups because there are two covenants …..the first group is based upon the forst covenant made with them only

“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Israel had their covenant with god before Christ came with the new

But the second group notice they arent from any one nation or people or language and notice they are now praising the lamb . they are produced by the new covenant made with everyone all nations Through the gospel .

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

note the lyrics now include praise for the lamb who died and purchased men for god the new song we heard about. It’s because these folks are from the New Testament. After the lamb has been exalted to the throne

There are two main groups (with subcategories within ) but Have you noticed there are 2 testaments ? Two births because we have to be “ born again “ ? Two deaths ? Because the lake of fire is the second death? Teo resurrections ? Two creations of heaven and earth which are now and heaven and earth which are promised when he comes back ?

Ever notice the two names theme ? Jacob became israel , Abram became Abraham , Saul became Paul , ….Peter ect ect

There are two of things because there are two testaments each covenant rules for it’s time they briefly overlap in that first generetion before Jerusalems destruction and desolation ( which means the ot religion can no longer be observed no temple no sacrificial systems ect the ot is based on what it says in the law they have to actively sacrifice and observe the priestly duties in thier man made temple. They have to sacrifice animal blood and imagine this redeems them for sinning they have to execute the judgements of Moses in thier law ect it’s based on observation

But they had promises in thier covenant for when thier promised messiah came forth just like Christian’s have many promises for when the messiah comes a second time from heaven then all the new covenant promises we have will be fulfilled.

at this point you have a group of kings and preists and then another general group to fill the earth . Just like the pattern in the law of preists and elders and prophets and then …..the people of gos who they led and communicated with .

zone overall group with particular order of two standings within the one small group of saints and one large group of believers

Jesus said in John 3:3 that unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

Your message contradicts what Jesus said. FYI, all OT saints got born again once that became available thru Jesus
Jesus said in John 3:3 that unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

right Jesus the mediator of the new covenant said they had to be born again .

what I said was in the old covenant they had no such instruction or knowledge and it was never required until they broke the old covenant and became defiled. That’s the reason someone needs to be born again because of this

“The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, And seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: There is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭14:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So a new covenant requires new people with cleaned up hearts and changed minds and attitudes new spirits …….

this covenant made with israel through Moses it’s mediator had its own blessings and curses based upon Moses words written in the book of the law.

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

curses ? In Israel’s law if they broke the covenant ? Small sample

“Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: and they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; a nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: and he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee. And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE Lord THY GOD; then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:45-52, 58-59, 62-64‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what did they choose ? And did god just say forget about what I said would happen ?

his answer was to make all things new including a new covenant and promised land. We need to be born again because he’s making all things new taking parts of a corrupt world and redeeming them for a better one that’s not corruptable

Israel had their covenant with god before Christ came with the new

Yes and Jesus came to do the Father's will to take the old away and to establish the new.
Any of the Jews that want eternal life will have to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and get born again.

Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God - John 3:3
God said He would make a New Covenant - Jeremiah 31:31-34

Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

I like where you are going with the 2's. We can add to that the two witnesses and the two lampstands. Then you have the fact that God/Jesus always used the 2nd born to carry out his blessings such as Esau and Jacob, Ishmael and Isaac, etc.

But you lost me on your last three paragraphs and I didn't understand what you were saying.

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The old had to be fulfilled before the new could come to fruition. And yes of course Jesus established the new covenant. But what’s being missed is the old eas either a blessing or curse they chose the curse so the fulfillment of the old ….

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. ( ad 70) Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:20-22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:37-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

this is regarding fulfillment of the old testament and result of thier covenant breaking the blessings we’re “ of they would have kept all his commandments and ordinances “

They now as we do together with them have a new covenant with far better promises than they have ever had before better land better covenant better everything

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is Hebrews 10:9 false and should be removed from the Word of God?
That was Jesus speaking there in Hebrews 10:9

Jesus fulfilled the law when He lived His life on earth perfectly not having violated any of the over 600 laws under the law of Moses.

That was Jesus speaking there in Hebrews 10:9

Jesus fulfilled the law when He lived His life on earth perfectly not having violated any of the over 600 laws under the law of Moses.

The key is figuring out how to make ALL of scripture fit together.

When Hebrews 10:9 says...

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

God didn't need to take away the first covenant from us because we weren't the people it was made for. What God/Jesus does do is FULFILL Jeremiah 31.

Jeremiah 31:

31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

He took it away from all of mankind as in it's no longer applicable at all to anybody including the Jews.

Jesus Christ is the only way unto salvation and that's under the New Covenant.

I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts

Yes and under the New Covenant that would be the Law of Christ, not the old law of Moses.

Jesus’s Reign will be eternal, but the 1000 yrs denotes the time from His second coming after the events of Rev, and the final human rebellion, led once again by Satan, who is released after being bound for the 1000 years.
Revelation Chapters 19 and 20 must be parallel chapters. If the events were to occur after chapter 19, then we would have Jesus vanquishing His enemies in chapter 19, followed by a gap of a thousand years in chapter 20, then yet another final annihilation of the wicked.

And that is just one of many inconsistences I see with that view

That doesn't change the fact that Jesus said HE WOULD FULFILL ALL THINGS THAT WERE WRITTEN, including for the house of Israel, house of Judah, house of David, etc. You get the picture.

Luke 24:44 - And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

That's why the book of Revelation is so hard to interpret. There are many parallels describing past events and then future events together. It's like trying to decipher a dream within another dream.
