Lets try this one - And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
So where do you see the Dragon/Satan in the story ? Most people will say Herod , but when Herod was born his mother named him Herod and not Dragon or Satan. Altho most christians will accept that Satan was using Herod to get the job done.

Since the only reliable information we have is in the Bible, I was just wondering what you base your belief that Satan sent the wise men on?
Matthew 2 says,
1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
This is a group gathered from the East to bring gifts and worship King Jesus the Christ.
The adversary to them and Jesus was a mass murderer. Would not the power hungry King Herod who slaughtered all of the toddlers and babies have more in common with Satan than kind wise men who worship and take valuable time and resources to provide for the One they were assured was the prophesied king of the Jews?
They come from a pagan nation, yet likely were influenced by the prophet Daniel from previous generations. It was not told, but likely were believers considering their knowledge of prophesy, and dedication to make that costly, risky trip.
Then I ask, why would Satan lead a UFO to direct these men to Jesus to do the following?
9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him:
Satan does not worship Jesus and provide gold for his future needs. If it were Satan, he would do what Herod was moved to do shortly after.
Another reason that I don't believe that Satan directed them or his UFO is because Scripture clearly states that God told them in a dream to not go back to Herod but another way to make sure they got back home safely with their message. In no way did they disobey God, endanger King Jesus, but rather disobeyed Herod the mass murderer who later tried to kill Jesus.
12And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. 13And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
God evacuated His only begotten Son, Mary, Joseph, and the wise men before the kill team showed up to attack families and murder babes.
Do you see any problems with my reasoning from Scripture?
