The law does not save us and neither does it make us righteous. "Whoever keeps the whole law, but stumbles at just one point, is guilty of breaking all of it."
James 2:10
True... you got that right
So do we become saved from sin by removing the law or by the death of Jesus?
If we are not transgressing the law because the law has been removed, then we are not sinning.
We do not need to be saved from sin if the law has been removed.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
We have been freed from the death that sin brings which is what the law reveals.

Not under the law...
But Rom 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Dead to sin = not a slave to sin, the flesh or old sinful nature has been put to death.
Rom 6:6-7
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Who do you serve?
Rom 6:15-16
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
We are not under law but under grace.
We are freed from the law by grace.
The law can't condemn us while we are under grace.
BUT DO WE CONTINUE TO SIN? GOD FORBID. NO.
under the law = under the condemnation. The law reveals sin.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
