The whole world you mean - evil and death is no more - all our hopes fulfilled - seeing Him face to face like Paul said, no more sorrow. All the believers should be jumping up and down. Jesus our Lord and savior, He is our God, we are His people!!!

I thought this was a basic belief whether you're a futurist, Historicist or whatever Exegesis is applied. I had no idea the Preterist had no hope at all other than to die. No return of Christ or anything. He's pointing out that there is indeed an "end of the age" and "the end of the world", according to the Bible for people who take the time to read and study it all and know the difference between the two.
You had best dust off that Bible of yours and study these eschatological terms. After that, pack up that amillennial fantasy and dispose of it in the dogma dumpster labeled "bogus".“True, will happen after the millennium.”
Kind of funny Peter , an apostle , is preparing them for his return and doesn’t mention it nor did Paul Jesus or anyone else mention some earthly millennium riegn . Rather they all taught that the church was waiting for Jesus retirn and the actual promised kingdom to come to pass
Peter was propounding post-rapture DOTL judgement constantly. It is mentioned by Jesus atleast, agreed on Peter and maybe even Paul.
Jesus said to the apostles that they will rule over the 12 tribes of Israel, Jesus said to the churches that they shall rule over the nations with Him, Jesus said some people will be given authority over many cities, the Apostles asked Jesus if He will now restore the kingdom to Israel. So make no mistake about it, they believed it, and thats just the New Testament, once you go to Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah theres a lot of information about the millennium, but I chose these ones on purpose cause I know you guys like to twist the OT and claim to be interpreting in light of the new.
Christians don't cuss. The preacher is Dr James Tour. He is a brilliant scientist, a fervent evangelist and knowledgeable about Israel's place in God's plan and purpose. It is quite long, but well worth hearing. Replacement people don't listen. You will have to change your minds if you do.
Hard of seeing? OK, I pumped up the text to max for you. Can you see it now.....Very good, Jesus is with us, His followers, today and everyday. We have holy spirit in us. The father, son, spirit are in one.
Then what's your point again?
So?Hard of seeing? OK, I pumped up the text to max for you. Can you see it now.....
Mat 28:20
“teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the AGE.” Amen.
The whole Bible ? :O
John Darby. Look it up.
Yeah, no need to look it up if you don't want to.I go by what the Lord teaches in His Word, not by writings of men telling what they thought God said.
According to God's Word there was an old covenant and now there is a New Covenant.
Those that dispute this either don't know how to read or don't own a Bible.
Yeah, no need to look it up if you don't want to.
Just follow Jesus. Simple.
You don't believe there's an old and new covenant?
this thread is about Replacement Theology that sadly started with some of the church fathers.
Or …..maybe it’s just you being misinformed.
but naw it’s probably just a misprint
remember though he’s first preaching only to isreal
Until Jesus preached the gospel and then died shedding his blood the old covenant had all the authority
No, I'm going by what Jesus said in order to be informed:
In Luke 16:16 Jesus said: the law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it
Yeah well let me know if you think this is a misprint:
Hebrews 10:9 - Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
God said He would make a New Covenant - Jeremiah 31:31-34
Did you by chance notice it is the Lord Jesus speaking in Hebrews 10:9
Some folk just won't let what the Lord says to get in the way of what they believe
That's false doctrine. He was teaching the New Covenant that was made available to all mankind.
He was not teaching the law of Moses to the Jews as many false teachers claim deceiving many in to ignoring the teachings of Jesus
So you claim Jesus lied then?
In Luke 16:16 Jesus said: the law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it
If the old covenant was still in force, then you'd have to claim Jesus was in error by teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom which is teaching the New Covenant not the old covenant. You're a very confused person.
Most people here believe there's a New Covenant, what some here don't believe is that the House of Israel/David will be brought into that New Covenant at a later date.
Well, they believe wrong.
What do you mean exactly? Are you offering advice? Saying that if you cuss you are not a Christian? And what prompted you to say what you said?Christians don't cuss.
Especially in light of the belief that the ANTICHRIST must come first to Israel.Let's just assume this dispensationism is right, still it does not give Christian any authority to support a secular system.
So you are NOT worried that denying the Second Coming is heretical? I suggest that you START worrying pronto! So?
Isn't it wonderful?
What are you worrying about?
Just make sure don't do anything outside of Jesus command us. Such as thou shall not murder, stealing, covet, immorality, adultery....
Zechariah 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Yeah, that could put a different spin on things, couldn't it?
Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
