Jesus IS the Redeemer who died for our sins to redeem us.
Isaiah 44:6 - Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and HIS REDEEMER the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Zechariah 14:9 - And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, AND HIS NAME ONE.

Matt 1:21 the angel Gabriel told Mary and Joseph to name hime Jesus. The orgin is Hebrew a name Joshua or YESHUA meaning YESHUA saves. So he is the Messiah

It wasn't a birthright spoken, Jesus is the Word and IS God. He existed in the beginning with God long before He was born into the world as a human. Maybe you should read John, chapter 1 again.
Im lost in the mix. . God anoint Jesus As the Christ in the Jordan River . Christ Christ the anointed one fulfills all when the apostles know him as Christ the anointed one Messiah. Because they knew him as the Messiah . So yes yes they would refer to him as the anointed one . But then they would tell rhen Jesus was crucified and still call him the anointed one this is all true. And this is who they were waiting for for many years the Messiah. But now you must know we are waiting for the king he keeps his promise to David's seat for ever. They also knew this they they understood more after the Holy Spirit came and made his abode. When someone like you would ask me am i waiting on the anointed one if I was to speak the truth of the Holy Spirit I would have to say No! Because the anointed one the Messiah the Christ came and did his part and conceited at rest now the anointing is Branched out from the one who has the anointing . So I am waiting on the king ti return he did return but but didn't claim any Earthly thrown free he had to go sit and be seated at his rest that's actually the Sabbath being fulfilled the high priest sits at rest finally. We wouldn't have the New Testament without the Holy Spirit a good example of one of my favorite books that starts out of the the gospel John John probably had many private conversations with Jesus but yet you can see John step out in the beginning of h gospel calling Jesus the word this is the holy spirit letting him step out and speaking boldly in the beginning was the word I don't think you'll find it written by any other prophet but John knew who he was and what Jesus was leading us to be so yes there are scriptures you can step out in the Holy Spirit as John did because the same exact holy spirit that New Parah RUACH Jesus from death to new Life . You must realize Jesus is the First of his Kind and you must know He needs US As He is, to be with him Forever . Skipping the Holy Spirit is skipping the forever and none of God's words in the book you read can change that! You do know wherever they end up all will still know the word of God

It was about the anointing and within that scripture you saw the word counterfeit that is from your old testament and I believe you're the one who put the scripture up and that's what I replied to when imy post said DavidL anyway the counterfeit thing is a warning and yeah some religions do try to counterfeit the Holy Spirit Today.

Yes, the timing of the crucifixion was ultimately under God's control. But what you have written does not mean that He wasn't Christ until after the crucifixion. I am indeed awaiting the Saviour's Second Coming, and by God's grace I am saved. I am not sure what those things have to do with Jesus always being Christ.

If you had the Holy Spirit then you you shouldn't be asking me personally . But but maybe you mean how Does one know? I only know one who Anoints so it's not really a question you should ask what's the question you should ask yourself?

Is it possible to be anointed by a counterfeit spirit?
I would answer, "yes".
So back to my question.
How do you know if the anointing you receive is from God's true Holy Spirit or is it a counterfeit?
