Now didn't you tell me that you believe that the rapture occurred in the 1st century? I'm sure that you did make this claim.....many times.

Care to confirm that this is your version of when the rapture happened?

Don't be shy.... :sneaky:

All of that is extraordinarlily resolved by the following term:
PRESENT CHURCH AGE
Whether you understand it or not.

Mat 12:32
“Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

Eph 1:21
far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

1Ti 6:17
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Tit 2:12
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

Gal 1:4
who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
I don't think your passages about "this age" and "the age to come" resolve the question the way you think they do.
They certainly establish that Scripture speaks of a present age and a coming age (Matt. 12:32; Eph. 1:21; Gal. 1:4; Tit. 2:12), and I have no disagreement there.
But none of those texts explicitly say that the unity Paul describes in Ephesians 2 and 3 belongs only to a temporary "Church Age" and ceases to define the people of God afterward.
In fact, Paul's language is present tense: Gentiles are fellow heirs, are of the same body, and are partakers of the promise in Christ by the gospel (Eph. 3:6).
Christ hath made both one and hath broken down the middle wall of partition (Eph. 2:14).
Those realities are not presented as merely age-specific arrangements; they are presented as accomplishments of the cross.
So I agree that Scripture distinguishes between this age and the age to come, but the question remains: where does Scripture say that believing Jews and believing Gentiles cease being one body, one new man, and fellow heirs once God begins fulfilling additional promises concerning Israel?
I see passages teaching both truths at the same time: God has not cast away Israel (Rom. 11:1), the gifts and calling of God are without repentance (Rom. 11:29), and believing Jews and Gentiles are united in Christ (Eph. 2:14-16; Eph. 3:6).
Therefore, from Scripture alone, the challenge is not choosing one set of texts over the other, but allowing both to stand together exactly as written.

Does this help you:
1) The NATION ISRAEL is the POSSESSOR of the New Covenant.
2) We presently reside in the CHURCH AGE.

And let me ask you: do you (like me) uncanny that the RT's and CT's and preterists etc fail to grasp the simple fact that
the New Covenant was prophesied TO ISRAEL waaaaayyyyy back in Jer 31:31?
You know.......long before the rejection of their Messiah and Church age interregnum became a thing?

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.”
— Jeremiah 31:31 KJV
The text says exactly that, and I have never denied it.
What I do not see in Jeremiah 31 is the distinction you are making between "covenant possessor" and "covenant participant."

Sure there was a 1st century rapture of believers in Jerusalem before it was destroyed.

So please answer the question about covenants.

The Mosaic Covenant is fulfilled.

The New Covenant is only partially fulfilled until God/Jesus brings another remnant from the seed of Isaac & Jacob into it. While we live in it spiritually currently, it is not completely realized and consummated yet for all.

The Abrahamic Covenant is unfulfilled.

The Davidic Covenant is unfulfilled.

Stop deflecting and flip flopping or I'll have to ignore you again.
ROFL. This covenants questions is his default fall-back ploy when his bogus doctrine is exposed.

And if you didn't know, this is meant to blow up a huge smokescreen and serve as a distraction.

Wash rinse and repeat....😂

True. This is how Cameron143 gets you to think that he believes what you do, when he really doesn't by making vague claims like:

"I don't disagree. God is a covenant God. But the promises are in the seed...Christ. Thus, all the promises of God are in Him yes and in Him amen."

It's his way of being deceitful.

What he really means is that God is a New Covenant God, not a God who will fulfill ALL of His Old Covenants.

Both the Abrahamic and Davidic covenants are extensions of the covenant of grace in Genesis 3. These were fulfilled by Christ and came definitively with Christ. They have been coming progressively since that time, and will come consumatively at His return.

The Mosaic covenant is no longer.

Since only the new covenant exists, the only way forward for anyone, Jews included, is under a covenant of grace...the new covenant.

No, both the Abrahamic & Davidic Covenants will be fulfilled after Jesus returns. They are not just extensions of the Covenant of Grace.

The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns, He will make a "Covenant of Peace" with them, so they can finally live in peace in the land that God promised them and with Him reigning as their King.

To call me deceitful is poor discernment. I never claimed to agree with you. What I have labored to do is show you that there has, since the onset of sin, been a covenant of grace in place in Genesis 3, and that all succeeding covenants are a broadening of Genesis 3; albeit, the Mosaic covenant also included aspects of works.

The questions themselves are carefully crafted vehicles of deceit. Many cults train their acolytes in like manner.

Where does Scripture say the Abrahamic and Davidic Covenants are only fulfilled after Christ returns?
The New Testament presents Christ as the promised Seed of Abraham (Gal. 3:16) and the promised Son of David already reigning at God's right hand (Acts 2:30-36).
At the same time, Romans 11 teaches that God has not cast away Israel and that future mercy remains for them (Rom. 11:1, 25-29).
So from Scripture alone, I do not see an either/or.
I see present fulfillment in Christ and future aspects of God's promises still to come.
The question is not whether God keeps His covenants, but how all the Scriptures concerning Christ, Israel, and the nations fit together without denying any of them.

LOL! Do you care to read your own words AGAIN??!!

You said: "I don't disagree. God is a covenant God. But the promises are in the seed...Christ. Thus, all the promises of God are in Him yes and in Him amen."

So, now you're trying to say that "I don't disagree" really means "I disagree"??!!

cv5 may be breathing out fire and brimstone, but he doesn't use double negatives to ask and answer questions.
You both say you are lambs but speak like dragons! Shall I show the proof of your fruit? Please say yes, because I have been holding on to all this for far to long.

Your understanding of covenants is much like your understanding of Revelation. You see the trees, but miss the forest.

Key elements of Joel’s prophecy that remain unfulfilled or incomplete include:
  • Universal Outpouring: Joel prophesied the Spirit would be poured out on "all flesh," whereas at Pentecost, the experience was limited to approximately 120 believers in Jerusalem.
  • Cosmic Signs: Joel predicted blood, fire, and pillars of smoke, as well as the sun turning to darkness and the moon to blood. These astronomical and geological phenomena did not occur on the Day of Pentecost.
  • The Day of the Lord: Joel’s prophecy centers on the "great and awesome day of the Lord" and preceding judgments. Peter explicitly notes these signs precede that day, which has not yet arrived.
  • National Restoration: The broader context of Joel involves the judgment of nations and the restoration of Israel. The events of Acts 2 focused on the birth of the Church, leaving the national and eschatological fulfillments for a future time.
So now the question is: What Exactly Did God Do After the 'Limited Outpouring' to Delay the 'Cosmic Signs'
which should have appeared within the next 6-7 years (70th week)?
