Pepperoni. It was pretty yummy. They also have a 4 cheese that I've heard is even yummier. There were two other ones too: buffalo chicken and Philly cheesesteak.
There's an Aldi about 6 miles from me, I'm gonna check it out. One of my faves at a local store is their chili rellenos, 2 big ones for 7.99. It takes me forever to pat out the grease lol, then I smother it in the Quarto Chili Salsa. It's just missing meat which I might start topping them with shredded pork or beef.

It comes with a tray that you flip over and cook the gyro on, so it gets a little toasty like a gyro.

Also, the Lean Cuisine chicken enchilada suizas is pretty good, if she's into that.
on the forefront, it doesn't seem i would prefer either of those although i loved much of that style food down in the caribbean.

I don't usually eat frozen meals, but I think they can be a good option for those who lack the space to cook, lack the skills/ability, or lack the time. I'm concentrating on some projects lately, so cooking isn't high on my priority list right now, so these have been serving a purpose. Time is drawing close to when I'll be posting scratch made foods all the time again lol 😋

here's my seafood salad recipe: penne regatta macaroni, lobster, shrimp, crab legs, cherry tomatoes, spinach, carrots, Himalayan salt, old bay spice, & mayonnaise.

I think it's cool that you're both connoisseurs of fine food, but yet don't look down on "humble" things like certain frozen dinners. :D

I haven't tried many frozen dinners but if there are a few good ones out there, I'd like to think they're still a viable option! :)

thank you seoulsearch for your compliment. even though my life was in the spotlight playing in bands & socializing around in saratoga & manhattan, i'm naturally a low key person, not the life of the party, mostly humble, do not look for attention & sometimes quiet. my wife became a connoisseur of foods after she met me. she raised a family modestly. btw, her 1st husband became sickly with a bunch of different issues & passed back in 2013. i think his problems were the result of a poor diet all his life. by all Christian means, everyone says he was a fine moral guy. believe it or not we sometimes want a change & eat simple as we backed off of saratoga back in 2024. a local restaurant called the rain dancer has very tasty hamburgers made from sirloin. in the winter, i eat amy's pot pies. so delicious!!!! easy to prepare. i myself have never had a frozen dinner, just the pot pies. i buy them for my 96 year old customer.
