You could put the TV out in the backyard and then watch through your bedroom window.I didn't say to have tv in bedroom, just two tvs in living room. lol
But tvs are so giant these days, how can they fit?![]()

With a very long extension cord? You could put the TV out in the backyard and then watch through your bedroom window.
So..who lives in the biggest house? And how many do you own?correct, i just mentioned that a tv in the bedroom for us isn't going to occur. tv's are huge. just so happens we live in the smallest house of all the houses we own!!!
the 2 biggest houses get rented out, we live in the 3rd. 4 houses all together including the 1 i just inherited on Sep. 3rd from my 96 year old customer. the land across the street from that house is on the market & will be sold. when my customer passes, i'll sell that house she lives in now.So..who lives in the biggest house? And how many do you own?
yes,. that show airs here. my wife loves to watch that show. There was this weird tv show called 'Love it or List it' . Not sure if it shows in the US. Anyway it was about people considering selling and moving to a new home or renovating their old one and staying put.
The homes got renovated for them while they were looking for a new one. Most people chose to stay in their old one when it got renovated (for free) or they could list it and get more money (since they didn't have to pay the cost of renovating or do it themselves)
It was all a marketing ploy to show you how much you could buy a house for.
After maybe 2 or 3 shows of this scenario I got a bit bored of it lol. I am sure lots of people went on the show so they could have their homes renovated while they went house shopping.
These were usually wealthy couples, but I know house hunting can be such a drag. How can any house or property tick all the boxes unless you build it yourself and customise it.
If you can afford your own home, you are doing well, it's better than renting in most respects. And if you have several you would be doing really well.
Are there any tv shows that you both like to watch together?yes,. that show airs here. my wife loves to watch that show.
yes, antiques roadshow, perry mason, the original star trek, all creatures great & small, twilight zone, all in the family, history shows, documentary's & such. Are there any tv shows that you both like to watch together?
I don't think my mum and dad ever watched tv together. He liked sports, she liked Shortland Street. There was no crossover!
by course, it is 2nd hand. however the RPQC factor is the big diff.Antiques Roadshow...right up your alley
I always thought Antique Shops were just rich people's op shops/second hand shops
You'll have to translate that acronym for me.by course, it is 2nd hand. however the RPQC factor is the big diff.
your last line: poetically said! i invented a lesson for antique dealers for knowledge. also made it into a rhyme: RPQC! Rarity, Provenance, Quality, Condition. You'll have to translate that acronym for me.
My brothers are really into antiques they buy from auctions quite regularly, while I just tend to buy items I can use, rather than for the sake of them, or for their history.
I don't collect a lot of things either but its true I get my collecting genes from my dad, which is probably why I ended up being a librarian which has the biggest collections of items than them all. Books are always being published and it's interesting what is popular and what becomes a classic.
People who are fans of things, will literally buy ANY merch and memorabilia of the object of their devotion.
