According to Ephesians 4:11, the Lord Jesus gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
How did the people who read and believed in the Holy Scriptures recognize and accept these individuals in these roles?
If these ministries were given by the Lord Jesus, how did these people come to have the ministries or positions mentioned in Ephesians 4:11?
In other words, how did they know that someone was truly called or gifted by the Lord to serve as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher?
There will be confusion about this.
Arrogance getting involved.
Jealousy taking place.
Not believing going on.
Some might get arrogant saying they are something that they were not called to do.
Some not believing they were called for they do not really believe that person was called or is lying.
Some being jealous of a person claiming to be something and denying it they were called.
A lot can go on concerning this.
Some said they are a prophet but then their interpretation seems whacked out.
People claiming they are one of the 144,000 in Revelation.
And one man said he is one of the 2 witnesses.
One man said he is the 3rd eagle, angel, of Revelation, and co-prophet of the end times and he has the most bizarre interpretations.
Even using the score of a football game to reference something of God.
He can see a fight jump out of the water and think it is a message from God.
There will be confusion, doubt, arrogance, exalting, lying, jealousy, not believing, when dealing with this matter.
Because there are many people who deny the Spirit leading them so they are of the flesh getting involved.
I never thought I was anything but a common saint and do not like to call myself anything but that.
Everybody is supposed to preach and teach but not all is to lead a congregation or travel.
That is what it seems like to me for we are all called to reach out to people with the same message no matter how big the group or how far the distance.
We all do the same thing.
As far as a prophet what does that entail for everybody can understand the Bible and everything about it for God gives wisdom to all people liberally nothing wavering.
So no one is privileged to know more than another but it would depend how much they apply themselves concerning the Bible.
But the Bible says the Spirit will show us things to come so what do the prophets do.
It seems like they are to help the body of Christ understand current movements of God and prepare for what lies ahead.
The Old Testament prophets were to warn Israel to turn from their wicked ways back to the LORD which the whole Church does that warning the world and wayward people claiming Christianity.
It seems the title of prophet gets used the most for people wanting to exalt themselves which some have interpretations that are contrary to mainstream belief and you might of never heard it that way before.
But how else can they exalt themselves unless they appear as having some interpretation no one else could attain to.
Like the Woke movement that goes against mainstream society trying to act like they are special and the wave of the future.
And people becoming transgender to confirm that they can live however they want to live and be whatever they want to be so back off.
Who want desperately to exalt themselves stepping out of the bounds of reality to do so.
Motivated by insecurity, and low self esteem, that American society caused by the way they operate making them feel like a nobody and nothing special in society.
Which is really affecting the youth/young adults and the reason so called Karens are lashing out.
