They excel at plucking verses out of context and not employing any hermeneutics to understand the text.

Salvation has always been and will continue to be, on an individual basis not by nation or ethnicity.

The Bible tells you that it is both. Here is a list of Bible verses for you HERE. They are extensive.

They dodge questions about the current nation of Israel's actions just like the Islamists do when questioned about the actions of certain terrorist groups. It's the same spirit, really. The end result of which is permission to kill the opposition.

Nobody is dodging questions. You just haven't liked the answers we give. The only ones dodging questions are those of you to don't want to admit what background you came from to show why you don't understand scripture.

Aaron56, your own profile says that you are "NOT Christian", so what is your response to that?

Thanks! Even I missed the subtlety of Matthew 17:11! It just goes to show us how careful and diligent we need to be when reading scripture!!

I would add that the elephant in the room is ELISHA.
Jesus is using Elijah as the forerunner of ELISHA., (Elijah, then Elisha, ) ( Elijah precedes Elisha)
IN JTB, Jesus uses Elisha as JTB, which places himself as ELISHA.
At the cross, Jesus is referenced as ELIJAH.
( The church then automatically becomes depicted as ELISHA)

IOW, AT JTB , and the cross, the mantle is passed.

Both times it is the Elisha/ Elijah dynamic of passing the mantle .

The confirmation is when Jesus breathed on the disciples and said " receive you the Holy Spirit "

( The fulfillment in power when Jesus prophecied " greater works than these you will do" ...IOW The parallel of Elisha having twice the anointing of Elijah)

The origin of the Christian church began with Jews/Israel. The church has always been true Israel in Christ from it's beginning and continues to be that way today but with the inclusion of gentiles. It is the same with the concept of the bride of Christ and the body of Christ. The bride and body started with Jews/Israel. Gentiles that accept Christ become part/are grafted into these concepts and become part of the Church, part of the bride, part of the body and part of the great olive tree which has many of the natural Jewish branches since the ministry of Christ and beyond.

No one replaced anyone else. Some bad branches were removed, some good new branches were added. Replacement theology is false. Removal theology is true.
...which is saying replacement theology.
Just in a rond about way.

There is nothing to defend, you post verses out of context.
If you do not know what his means study and learn.
The end!

LOL! You stating that doesn't make it so. You can't defend your position and you're not convincing, which is EXACTLY why you have 16,726 posts and only 113 points credited to you here. So, please, take your own advice and STUDY AND LEARN!!!

It's sad to think that the one new man Jesus died to create... consist of both jew and gentile.
Gods will is to unite jew and gentile as one ....it seems that Christians rather distance themselves from the this modern Israel rather than embrace the calling to preach first to the jew then the gentile. Yet they seem to believe they are doing the will of the father.
Ironic if you ask me.

Jesus has created the Spiritual body, but now we obviously need Him to materialize the physical body in order for some Christians to understand. What's that saying about a "doubting Thomas"? Jesus Himself said, "blessed are those who have not seen, but believe". That goes for His word too! Some Christians aren't going to believe everything God/Jesus said until they see it happen!

I don't! Neither am I going to allow propaganda to go unchallenged.

just like the Islamists do when questioned about the actions of certain terrorist groups.

Well they are the worlds terrorists so they should know.

it's the same spirit, really.
The end result of which is permission to kill the opposition.

So raping women till their hips break, strangling the Bibas boys, torturing hostages and starving them, shooting parents in front of children and the other way round, you think "we" have that same spirit huh? And that's only part of the sick things they did on Oct 7th. Well, that's the sickest and most stupid comment I've heard so far in here. That should shut down the thread as far as I'm concerned.

The centerpiece that blows the debate apart is the 144,000 ethnic Jews that are chosen and sealed in Revelation.

Rt has to dismantle every description God Uses for them.

It would be interesting to find out how many postribbers are RT.

I would wager that if they aren't RT, they will be at some point.

That's like saying Paul was unable to connect the dots
