@HeIsHere, laugh all you want with your emojis, but it's becoming more and more apparent that you don't understand it. That's why you never address this statement and it's also why you can't use scripture to back up your views. You never understood them to begin with, because you don't understand how Jesus is God.

I have stated it so many times, there is no point because dispensationalist do not use a consistent hermeneutic.

When you drop the literalist approach, and adopt the correct hermeneutic which I have outlined so many time let me know.

So, you can't answer my question, huh?

You have no answer.

2Th 2:2
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2Th 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Th 2:6
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

2Th 2:7
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I think we are talking about two different groups of people here, but to answer your question, the Bible makes it pretty clear that it was God's plan for the Jews to reject Jesus so that salvation could come primarily through the Gentiles first (as the second born) before He comes back to bless a remnant of the Jews (the first born). In the Jewish world, they always put so much emphasis on giving all of their inheritance to their first born, when God/Jesus mostly (not always) chose to use the second born to carry out His blessing and promises (ie Isaac over Ishmael, Jacob over Esau, etc.)

Excuse me for using A.I. to explain this in more detail and more thoroughly:

The biblical emphasis on the firstborn stems from ancient Near Eastern customs where the eldest son received a double portion of inheritance and served as the family's leader and priest (Deuteronomy 21:17; Genesis 49:3). In the Torah, this status required consecration to God, leading to the pidyon haben ritual where firstborn sons were symbolically redeemed from divine ownership (Exodus 13:2). Israel itself is designated God’s "firstborn" (Exodus 4:22) to signify its privileged covenantal relationship and preeminence among nations.

Jesus and the New Testament writers use the "second born over first born" theme (seen in figures like Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph) to illustrate that spiritual blessing is determined by divine election and faith, not biological priority. This pattern highlights that the younger or chosen line often carries the covenant promise, challenging traditional expectations of birthright. Theologically, this signifies that Christians are the "second born" or spiritual offspring who inherit the blessing through grace, while Jesus is termed the "firstborn of all creation" (Colossians 1:15) to denote his supreme authority and preeminence rather than literal birth order.

You missed my point as I'm used to by now. Never mind .....that was not what I was aiming for. The point was why did the jews reject christ. How did they determine his guilt.

I explained it in that post. Maybe you should read the whole thing. It was a part of God's plan to bring salvation to the Gentile nations too. They accused Jesus of declaring Himself as God, which He was, and they considered it blasphemy. That's why they thought He should be killed, but instead, Jesus used it as a means to save the whole world instead.

Read your own words again carefully....

"what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?"

We currently are the temple of the living God UNTIL He returns.

--

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

You propose that we disregard this verse and turn to Idolatry on the grounds that Jesus is coming soon.

Does Satan actually pay you to do this?

Your memory is really short because it has been discussed countless times in this thread.

You need to read Romans 11 again:

Romans 11:26

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.

29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

My memory is good enough.
We never reached any agreement on your interpretation.

So in the manner that Paul described, the whole olive tree will be saved.
No restoration of any earthly nation is suggested.

I should have made myself clearer. I already told you that we are the temple of God FOR RIGHT NOW! We won't be the temple in the "age to come" OR in Heaven. We've already had this discussion. Does Satan pay you not to read your Bible?

Your memory is not good enough because you don't understand those verses in Romans 11 that were posted. I've said it enough times here to know why that is. You cling to Jesus as the ONLY God. The loving and merciful side of God (as long as its not towards the Jews). What you need to do is recognize how Jesus was the God of the Jews in the Old Testament too. The one who made promises to all of us and ones that He intends to fulfill whether you like it or not. Luke 24:44.

We have already diligently inquired of @Beekeeper @HeIsHere @Churchgoer as to the TRIGGER that ushers in the Second Coming.
And we have discussed the primary PURPOSE of the Second Coming of Christ in power and great glory (hint: to rescue and deliver His wife the Nation Israel).

So ask yourself: What excuse remains to them?

Mat 24:29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mat 24:30
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

29 Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

All those things happen after the tribulation?
Havn't you been telling us that they happen before it?
