Probably both, I mean didn't Trump say that Ukraine needs a new president, I'm sure Zelenskyy didn't like that but it was probably music to Putin’s ears and I wonder how republicans are going to feel about Trump taking Russia's side.
Sidenote:IMO Trump was always wanting to help Russia who is not our ally more than Ukraine who Is our ally.
I've got a pretty good idea how they'll react: They'll probably make a big show and "voice their concerns" but in the end they'll do nothing. I noticed Thom Tillis was saying today he thinks it's illegal; however, he's not up for reelection and has nothing to lose.
I'm just waiting to see how the Donald is going to benefit from this financially. 300,000 tons of diesel sounds like a lot but it's not enough to have a significant impact on diesel prices. None of it makes any sense until you consider the one thing that motivates this president more than anything else: greed.
Most will never know unless they open a search window and type in "how many tons of diesel is consumed per day in the USA?" Those who have already, already know it's less than one days supply. A snack is a snack or a pat on the head and all that needs be done is to express it in tons and not barrels or gallons. Most near everyone will fall for it if you say it like that.
Makes some feel good? Diesel fuel weighs about 7.1 lbs a gallon and an extra large tanker ship can carry about 300,000 tons so it's just one shipment. You have to balance the weight in a ship so you do it in tons when loading a cargo ship.

If Putin struck any deal over that little diesel fuel and altered the current embargo's it's the other way around.
He certainly doesn't want to say the number one issue is the price of gas and groceries are too high.
I don't get the stupidity of these voters. Gas will not come down under Dems, it will go up and stay up as will groceries. Use your brain.
