Why don't you like them?My car is a Toyota Frontlander, it's a gasoline-powered vehicle. There are lots of people around me driving electric cars, and I don't like them.
We're GM Orthodox, however I dabble in Toyotas. I have one prodigal son who's converted to Ford, and I'm working on forgiving him.
Why don't you like them?
I don't know what you drove but all the electric vehicles here have two pedals. And tesla batteries last 300,000 to 500,000 miles (432,800km - 804,672km). That's longer life than most gasoline cars.I think they are ok to drive but, I don't know about owning them.
Mind you I've only driven one once.
It was a little weird and I wasn't used to one pedal driving, but they seem like they are easier to handle. Just the cost of them is prohibitive the moment and when the battery runs out you may as well just buy a new car. I suppose it's for people with pots of money that don't have to drive long distance.
It was an MG.I don't know what you drove but all the electric vehicles here have two pedals. And tesla batteries last 300,000 to 500,000 miles (432,800km - 804,672km). That's longer life than most gasoline cars.
Wow I looked it up, that's a nice car. MG makes nice vehicles. The one pedal driving mode seems to be some kind of new battery-saving technology. Very interesting. It was an MG.
I think the thing with batteries at least in NZ it does depend on temperature...like it varies on how long it can last on a charge. Colder is slower? And we don't have many charging stations, you'd need to charge overnight at home.

I think electric cars have worse engines than gas-powered ones, and their batteries don't last long. Why don't you like them?
Those are both misconceptions, but thank you for answering.I think electric cars have worse engines than gas-powered ones, and their batteries don't last long.
