Only $799. Just needs a new lime green spray job and it should be good to go. Love the bugle horn on the top. Thats what you need to stop traffic.

We're GM Orthodox, however I dabble in Toyotas. I have one prodigal son who's converted to Ford, and I'm working on forgiving him.

Is he still allowed to come over for Thanksgiving dinner?

If so you should decorate the dining room with GM stuff on the walls and were GM t-shirts and stuff.

Why don't you like them?

Un-necessary, and very costly to have repaired when they go down.

And if involved in a fender bender where the software goes in to limp mode (whatever they call it), it costs a fortune to have the manufacturer fix that and most EV cars are totaled at that point which is driving up the cost of car insurance for everyone.

Not to mention going on road trips is a hassle since you have to stop and wait around while the thing recharges. An ICE vehicle can be filled up in minutes and you'll be on your way rather than sitting around a sitting duck to get mugged or raped

I think they are ok to drive but, I don't know about owning them.
Mind you I've only driven one once.

It was a little weird and I wasn't used to one pedal driving, but they seem like they are easier to handle. Just the cost of them is prohibitive the moment and when the battery runs out you may as well just buy a new car. I suppose it's for people with pots of money that don't have to drive long distance.

I don't know what you drove but all the electric vehicles here have two pedals. And tesla batteries last 300,000 to 500,000 miles (432,800km - 804,672km). That's longer life than most gasoline cars.

It was an MG.
I think the thing with batteries at least in NZ it does depend on temperature...like it varies on how long it can last on a charge. Colder is slower? And we don't have many charging stations, you'd need to charge overnight at home.

Wow I looked it up, that's a nice car. MG makes nice vehicles. The one pedal driving mode seems to be some kind of new battery-saving technology. Very interesting.
Yea cold lowers the range and charging power of electric cars. If it gets too cold the car won't charge. Here in california we have lots of charging stations. They're at almost every shopping center.

Is that what they are telling people these days?
They need to start using Solid State Batteries.

They are now available for use in gas powered cars and trucks and they claim they'll last up to 10 years.
But they'll only give a 5 year warranty which is sketchy

They only cost about double what a gas powered car battery costs but supposed to last much longer.
Next time I need a battery for my ICE vehicle I might try one.

They are supposed to start offering Solid State Batteries for EV vehicles but they are way more expensive and adds a lot of cost to buying the car
