The entire second page of this thread is totally cracking me up. lol

I have nothing constructive to offer. My plan of action is to continue in the work that God has given me to do. If He should happen to bring along a person of the male persuasion that works with whatever God's doing in my life at the time...then fantastic! If not, I'm completely satisfied and fulfilled because I'm doing what God has put before me. It's a pretty sweet plan, I think. :D

Holly, you need to raise your price up some. Sense of humor should cost more. Don't sell yourself short. Make him pay up.

That is very wise. :) It makes me think of some Bible verses about contentment...like this one:

Philippians 4:11-13

New International Version (NIV)

11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Sometimes I'm good at that, and others not so much.

Anyway, it is only a slight dilemma since I am sure God will pick the right person to share my life with. I am just shooting this out online to see if there is another possibility I have yet to consider. Currently my church does not have any eligible ladies and online dating seems like a costly stab in the dark to take without extensive preparation.

I am probably just making excuses, but I extremely dislike having to turn girls down after getting to know them simply because they are not willing to live a life of faith as I have chosen. However, it makes me feel even more stupid if I were to approach bringing a person to faith while trying to date them. It seems either way it is set up for something to backfire. However, that is just me caring about other people's feelings and not wanting anyone to feel bad. I pray that God may be able to aid me through one of you since He truly does work in mysterious ways.

But in all honesty, Just focus and center your life around Christ when the time is right, The right one will come along.:)

OK, I'm perplexed by this post Bridget. (puts on creeper uniform) From what I've seen between avatar pics, and your time on cam in chat you are a lovely woman. (removes creeper uniform) Are we missing the second nose that is growing from the back of your head? :eek:

Thanks Holly, I took your advice and got slapped in the face and ended up being carried out by my shirt collar with a mob of angry women following, relentlessly beating me with their purses.

I hate those BIG purses. Kinda hurts a little more when they've got those solid angular objects in there...
