I saw preschoolteacher24 post this on her Facebook and I thought it was really and absolutely true and profound, I LOVE it. I thought I would then (with permission) share this with those of you who are in the process of seeking your mate and for those of you who might be wondering where you perfect match is:

"Just like a shoe, if someone is meant for you, they will just fit perfectly; no forcing, no struggling, no pain."

God loves you and so do I!

I think it is a good analogy as long as you complete the analogy. I think the better analogy is comparing to a good set of boots. Even though they fit perfectly, there usually is a little discomfort while they "break in."

And if you're always in them, you'll end up with blisters. And your feet will smell, and they'll get worn out and you'll have to get new ones?

The more I thought about it the more I realized that I needed to give some more thought, but I still thought it was kinda neat, anyhow. :)

oh i just realize i was mentioned here lol and yes i posted that :p

Its cute but i guess its also important for kids (girls especially) to realize that not totally realistic. I was in this disney dream for years. and not that i'm in a serious relationship even though i KNOW its work i still wish for the magic carpet ride and prince on a white horse. relationships are work. ^_^

I guess i'm just wishing someone would have gone into THAT conversation with me when i was little and warned me instead of only telling me to save myself for marrage.
