You should read up on the sixth finger syndrome. A lot of people are being born with additional fully functional fingers. And the rates have increased dramatically over the last 10-20 years. 1 hypothesis is that is an adaptation brought on by our use of electronic devices. And really, have an extra working finger would help with texting faster lol
