T
but the issue I have is how people take the symbols in Rev too literally.
1. Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
The word "sealed" is translated from the word "sphragizo", which means "to stamp". But this
stamp is different because it is a private mark, such as for security or preservation.
2. The other mark, is the one the anti-Christ puts, which is from the word "charagma",
which means to stamp, but this type of stamp is such as a badge of servitude.
The anti-christ will be lifted up to god status by the false prophet. The false prophet will be the
one who instituted taking the mark. The anti-christ being the ruler, will approve of this.
The false prophet puts forth the mark and the buy/sell conditon for having the mark.
The anti-christ. being the ruler, I refer back to him as forcing the mark, because I see him as
having the ultimate authority.
