Also, don't forget...Joseph was in prison for several years before he was released and put in charge of all of Pharoah's posessions, and the Isrealites wandered the desert for 40 years before they came to the promised land.![]()
nope , not now ... going through black line and it seems like it will never end ... i know it will in time , but its just though ....
I'm very thankful for what God has given me so far, but I'm not yet content... largely because there's still a lot of things I want to do, see, achieve, experience, feel. There are a lot of things I think can make my present situation better, but God knows best. So in short, I'm thankful for the now, and am anticipating the possibilities in the future...![]()
Right now, I am very satisfied with how God is shaping my life. In ten months, I have gone from an emotional university drop-out to a hard-working community college student; jobless, to having a job as a worship singer; from looking for a church community, to finding one in the church I'm employed at. He is continuing to mold me into a singer for His glory, and I see Him in every challenge and reward, alike. I started reading the New Testament just the other day, and unlike other times I've tried that, I've been so enthusiastic about reading God's Word every time I sit down with it. the string of opportunities that He has put in my life, that I have embraced wholly, make me a better person each and every day. Praise be to God![]()
No.
I feel a constant sense of inner urgency, and a background hum of fear that I am so accustomed to that I almost forget about it, until the scary silence of being away from distractions brings it boiling back to the surface again.
To force myself to be and live like a "normal" human being feels like suicide to my soul, and suicide to any genuine vibrancy that fuels me to have energy to do things, like have fun, have real faith, work hard and love working, be creative, help other people, or be selfless and really, sincerely mean it. Or even hear God. Things I used to enjoy feel like a tiring chore sometimes now days. I believe with all my heart that it is connected with the fear and scary lies I struggle with.
It sounds like depression, but it's not. Because...I don't know...I have a lot of hope locked away that I stubbornly protected as well. It's not going anywhere, I'm mostly an optimist at heart, and when the fear isn't there, I'm quick to believe impossible things.
Just...I don't know. Right now I'm stuck in fog.
I rambled a bit there. I guess I could have just left it at no.![]()
yeah you COULD have. but then i wouldn't have gotten to hear the poetry in your soul and echo back in my own soul with a very genuine: 'i understand'
which may not help either one of us out of our fog, but at least we have company
thanks for sharing <3 may God clear the fog.
Thanks for reading. <3
And amen!

God is so faithful in ALL things. I've learned that regardless of the circumstances, there is joy to be found in EVERY situation. I didn't always know that, but now I do. There is a reason we call Him, God.
