I worked with an individual, I was his supervisor and off work I tried to be a friend. He was going through a hard time and I tried to reach out to Him, I knew he was depress and everytime we talked I prayed in my heart for the Lord to give me the words to say to make him feel better. He was receiving psychiatric help.

I just learned that something bad has happened to him, I am not being told what but I have a hint that it could be suicide. I beg the Lord that it's not so, and I need as much prayer for him that if anything did happen that it will pass and he will be okay. I'm really scared right now.

Quick up date, he ended his life last night, now please pray for his parents
 
Lord we come to you now, asking for You to comfort these parents. Lord just pic them up & place them in Your lap & there Father just allow them to release all their hurt & pain, allow them to stay up in Your arms for as long as it takes. Sometimes Lord we do not understand why things happin the way that they do, just pour onto these parents Your peace that passes all understanding and through this ones death may many come to see & know You. In Jesus name, amen.

I pray with all that you be comforted in all manner, and also that your friend is well, in Jesus Christ's name, amen.

If you would like you might read Psalm 51, in particular the part about a broken heart. This Psalm has given me great solace in so many ways through the years, and especially comforting me about the suicide of a very close family member. May God hold you near always, amen.

I will ask God to compfort all those who knew and loved him.
