Well...then you have to start digging ;).Your child most likely won't be a new species, it takes time/certain conditions for new species to appear. There are some new exciting discoveries...

No I don't. I have to wait for the discoveries to be made and the research to go through the peer review process, be checked and rechecked.

Unless you mean that I need to physically start digging in the Earth to try and find these things myself?

Still no.

Most definitely won't be.

What valuable posts you're leaving here lol

Do you have any links to articles about women giving birth to new species? If not, you're just talking to hear yourself talk.

"Evolution says nothing of how life began or where consciousness comes from." - That was valuable post as well "lol".Do you answer the same way to people who claim the earth is only 6 thousand years old? No I don't know of any women giving birth to new species...but that's actually very interesting question(oops another "valuable" post) Next time I'll try harder...lack of time.

hence the bit about sience prooves it does not happen by chance, it is contradictive. So many scientists say the big bang just happened, that animals just happened to evolve the way they do, yet they talk about things that are complex and not random at all. Or, maybe I just have bad luck, running into the ones saying strange things.
The term "random" is not well enough defined to use in these contexts. In biology, when talking about random mutations concerning evolution the word random is used because it can be caused by many things and does not happen for a specific purpose for the organism. However, how these mutations come about are understood and can be explained though physical processes that seem to follow expressible patterns. When using the word "random" it really depends on what you are referring to and under what context you are talking about it.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against science, I just have a problem with scientists that say "(we know that) it all just happened, but we dont know how".... then how do they KNOW it happened that way?
We can know something occurred without knowing how it occurred. Most natural disasters had no explanation for their causation a few thousand years ago, however people at the time knew that these disasters occurred. People can figure out what has happened in the past based on information that persists to this day. By using observations of the movement of other galaxies in relation to our own (and in relation to other galaxies) and information from cosmic microwave background radiation a model of our universe can be constructed. It is a processes of working backwards off the information that still exists, and the assumption of universality. People do this all the time with smaller issues. I don't see any problem with people saying that they know something happen without knowing how it happened. I know of a lot of things that occur without knowing the exact mechanisms behind it all.

Understanding that certain traits are passed on from parent to child is not the same thing as speciation. My child will not be a new species.
I am currently working on an essay concerning the subject of speciation and the problems of the term species. I will post some excerpts from it on here later.

I heard an interesting take on part of this the other day. It got me thinking. The answer to the age old question of which came first, the chicken or the egg? is The Chicken. Because God didn't create Adam as a baby he created a full grown man. Eve was a full grown woman. All the animals started out as adults. Therefore, it stands to reason God could have created the mountains, deserts, oceans, etc., with all the characteristics of old age. He could have made the layers of earth appear to be as old as He wanted for reasons known only to Him. Reasons we will probably not discover until we meet with Him in Heaven. Then, of course, it will all make sense. Why would God create so many planets and stars, galaxies, so far away we will never reach them? To make us feel small or to help us understand his Magnificence. To give us things to ponder, study and learn from. So that one day man will realize the immeasurable greatness of God is beyond our human understanding.
