First of all, I did not say that most Mormons are saved. What I said was, "quite a few of them" are. You might want to get your facts straight before going on another rant. No offense meant.
I do apologize about misquoting you. It was late and I misread, my apologies!

On to your next point, many people in the Bible, including Moses and Job, "saw God". ("I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee." - Job 42:5 | "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect." - Genesis 17:1) Most of those references refer to the Glory of God, or some physical manifestation of God, so I really don't think you have a valid point there. I'm not here to argue the accuracy of Joseph Smith's testimony; I don't know enough about him to debate it, but I can see where that part could have happened as he recorded it.
On this part, most of those verses as described are speaking about the manifestation of God's glory, yes, but in the revealed nature of Jesus Christ. Yes, there was a pre-incarnate Christ whom we find in the Old Testament. We see examples when Jacob wrestled with the angel in Genesis 32. We see scripture stating "So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, "I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved." This reference is speaking of Christ because God or YHWH is spirit (John 4:24) and not in physical form. We also understand that Christ is the invisible image of God according to Col 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
So, Christ is the visible manifestation of God according to scripture. Now, explain something. Now, in what relation can God be "seen" in your estimation? Please explain the passages like 1 Tim or Exodus. Because what you are saying is God can be seen, but scripture says he cannot. How can this be reconciled?

You say that we "will all be held accountable for what we believe", then go on to state that faith is by Grace, not works. If we will be held accountable for anything, then faith is of works, and not Grace. I don't know if that was an error on your part or not, but it is incorrect.
Rom. 3:28-30, "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. 29Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one."
Rom. 4:5, "But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness,"
Rom. 5:1, "therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,"
Rom. 9:30, "What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, attained righteousness, even the righteousness which is by faith."
Rom. 10:4, "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."
Rom. 11:6, "But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace."
Gal. 2:16, "nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified."
Gal. 2:21, I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
Gal.3:5-6, "Does He then, who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 6Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."
Gal. 3:24, "Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith."
Eph. 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. 9Not by works, lest any man should boast."
Phil. 3:9, "and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith."
Faith is the means by which God accomplishes the means. Faith is a good work, yes, however God enables us to perform this work (Phil 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure). Because we are dead our trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1 and Col 2:13) God has to enable us because we were God haters (Eph 2:3 Gen 8:21). We, in and of ourselves, cannot have faith in Jesus Christ. Even the demons tremble and believe according to the book of James. (James 2:19) However, Faith, ultimately is a gift from God (Eph 2:8) and we exercise this gift, which does not violate that we are saved by faith alone through Grace.

It doesn't matter what gospel people preach/believe; if they are of the Household of Christ, they are brethren, to be taught and built up. Also, I understand what you said about not blindly following some doctrine, but earnestly seeking the truth. What I'm saying is that the well established members of the Church should not shun those who are seeking. Maybe you don't understand this, but it is very difficult to break out of something you have been taught your whole life; give them some slack, would you? If someone is diligently seeking the truth, they will find it one way or another.
My brother, I say this in love and concern, but you are terribly wrong and misinformed. The Gospel is what joins people to the Household of Christ. If you have no Gospel, you are NOT a child of God. If you do not know the good news of Christ, how can I call someone my brother? Why were there such warnings throughout the entire New Testament from Christ, John, Peter, and Paul about false gospels and to be on guard? Why should we pay such close attention to false teachers who are 'anti-christ's' as John states in his epistles? How can someone who is anti (against) Christ present a gospel so approved by him. Mormons pervert the true gospel of Christ and do not understand who God is. They have a false view of who God is. How can someone be united with God and Christ if they do not understand the basic principle of who he has revealed himself to be? I have pleaded with Mormons for hours upon hours and plead with them to repent and believe in the true gospel and so be saved, removing the lie that so blinds their eyes. I have a great love for those within the LDS church and I have spent much time studying their beliefs and gone to great lengths to inform whoever I can. I cannot give them any slack because we are all going to be judged and I do fear for the Mormon who was taught a lie and didn't not leave their church even when their church was shown to be apostate and false. You want me to grade them on an unjust grading scale? Does God? I do fear for them and I expend much time and energy reaching those lost souls.

These might be some hard words and I might appear cruel, however, the truth isn't always nice. The truth hurts! I do say all I say in love because I would be unloving and lying to myself and everyone else if I didn't do what I could to inform someone from the eternal lake of fire. A truly terrifying thought! I pray those of the Mormon faith that I encounter maybe changed by the pure Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hi. If you love one another that is good. Then work at it as mature adults. Will this stop you from worshiping God like you , want to ? Religion is something I avoid. but Christianity , to be a Christ follower is good. that is what we are. Why is this your friends or boyfriends choice ? ? ? Your faith in God is your own. Study the Word of God. and don't let anyone ; Friends , boy-friend , or religion , get in the way of that. All these answers are in the Bible. i never been in that situation, so what do i really know.. But this seems easy?

I've already asked four of them to, but they won't. They all just said "Wait for people to stop posting, it will die out naturally."

**Finds it humorous that the OP that wants the thread to die keeps posting in it thus bumping it back to the top of the list where it will be more likely to get posted in.
