FrankensteinGirls are you here to get help as in freedom from homosexuality/lesbianism (or your so called "pansexuality" or "omnisexuality") and bondages of sin in general or are you part of this whole "gay Christian" mindset?

Over 281 posts and I'm just now going to post my thoughts on these issues. Same sex marriage is a hot topic. I think, as believers, we need to love the people who practice these things but do not support the act and the lifestyle itself. Stand up for what you believe in, however alienating the people who are in same sex marriages or people who support same sex marriages may not be the best idea in helping them see Jesus in you. It's difficult to come up with a generic advice where it works in all situations, but I don't think we can. We should be listening to the Holy Spirit when we are in such situations.

The Word is final...

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars —they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

[Revelation 20:8]

Whosoever questions to disagree in sodomy being an abomination will receive as they deliver. Know when you call for Christ to take your hand, He will turn away from you and say, "I do not know you, be gone from Me you evil doers".

You have allowed your fleshly desires to corrupt your minds and could not care for the Truth but instead you make your own laws for life when you should follow Gods Law. You choose what you wish to believe. You people are not of God but are the spreaders of The False Word of God. You among all are the most dangerous in deceiving the people of God and know your punishment will be the harshest of them all.

Anyone who supports and accepts evil among themselves will be judged as equal with those who commit the acts of evil. You either accept God or you don't, there is no in-between.

The Lord Jesus already sustained the wip, the lash, shame, spit, mockery, condemnation and death by crucifixion for the sins WE ARE GUILTY of, including sodomites and lesbians.

Christian believers ARE NOT the Savior of the world; JESUS is the Savior Who CAN help all sinners. God already loved all queers, but they refuse to believe God for Salvation.

God already said, "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants.

That you may love the LORD your God, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them" (Deut. 30:19-20).

Let's continue to keep our focus on the sovereignty of God and Christ from all all blessing come, for our help comes from God. :)

You misunderstood my sentiments BananaPie. It's about love. It's about being Christ like. We are not called to convert people to the faith. We are called to tell them about the faith. With that said, we NEED to stand up for the values of what we believe in but about being gentle and loving.

1 Peter 3:15- But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (Emphasis added).

1) Because its a sin

2) Because its a violation of the sacredness of marriage

3) Because if they adopt children it will affect them

4) Because when you don't worry about what others do unless it affects you, then you give a similar answer that Cain gave to God

Gen 4:9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

1. And? I'm sorry I honestly don't worry about sin too much.

2. They aren't talking about going to a church and having a ceremony. If they were I would say it's up to the church to decide whether or not they would honor that.

3. Zach Wahls Speaks About Family - YouTube I would encourage you, and everybody who thinks that if gay couples have kids or adopt them that it will affect them in such a negative way to watch this.

4. Again, and?

Hi, TonyDisciple,

thanks for your strong topic. I am still struggling with an attraction to men. I've been dealing with this for years since I was about 11. I could never figure out why this started. I think it's from watching porn at a young age. I feel plagued. I wish that I had never seen pornography, but I've been exposed to it half my life. I think that porn made me "open" to homosexuality since I saw naked men as well as women in the porn.

I pray that I marry a godly woman one day and that I will be a righteous man of the Lord. I think that I must go further in my walk with God before I am ready for courtship and eventually marriage. A part of that walk will be to stop watching porn forever. Another part will be to overcome my attraction to men. I think that this attraction is based in envy. I have always been envious of others. I'm not sure how to cure envy, but I think loving and appreciating myself will help me to be rid of envy. Envy has plagued me most of my life even longer than porn.

I pray that I have pride in myself and that I don't seek to glorify/envy other people, but that I only glorify God. Please pray for me. I need divine help.
I'm thankful that I'm going to church tomorrow. I need spiritual guidance.

Hey brother :) I can't imagine what you're going through, and I can't really give you advice as a woman because I think that would be more like a guys area, but please know that you are not alone. I don't know if porn was the cause, but whatever it was, we all have our weaknesses. Most of the times our struggles start as something little, maybe out of curiosity, and then it simply grows and grows until we don't even remeber how it started. Don't feel discouraged. Keep seeking God, don't give up on this battle. :)

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it

God bless.

For the record, there is a difference between judging a person and judging what they do.

If you really care about someone, and you see them going down a part that will lead to destruction;

Will you not yell, "Hey,,,,, you are going the wrong way???"

Can't like this quote enough. Same reason I am here, though a different sort of reason for conflict I guess you would say.

We were all born sinners and homosexuality is not the only sin. That is why He died on the cross. I believe that God is a healer, but He can't heal you if you don't let Him.

Very true. When God gives us a blessing, we have to receive it to got it. Receiving is an act of the will. John1:12, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" God can only bless us if we are willing to be blessed.

This is beyond any comment. Only one thing left to do: delete "Christian" from your profile.
What???... Did you think the thread had died?? :)

I reconsidered my comment directed at a Christian stating that same sex marriage is beneficial to society. I was appalled that a Christian can say that, that sin can be deemed as "beneficial" even by remote reference, but I have come to the realization that one can have an honest heart before the Lord and still be so influenced, ill-informed and evil taught (even in churches) on this topic, to the point of becoming "brainwashed" on this matter. However, I guarantee 100% that if you are true to God in your heart, and understand that His truth is above everything, then you won't miss what the Bible teaches about this. If you still think different than what the Bible clearly states, than you just don't want to accept the truth and you should search your heart for the reason behind that, because if you are not willing to accept God's truth it only means one thing: you hold sin in your heart, and that's serious business. So let's search our hearts and take His word for what it is.
