I can honestly say this about this topic.

There has only been one woman in my entire life (I am 37 now) that I have been "IN LOVE WITH".

There are days (many of them lately) where I wished to the GOD of GLORY that I had never even meet this woman.


Being obsessed with someone is "not being in love . LUST is not "being in love". for me and my experience.

It's like this, sadder still to watch it die than never to have know it.


I sometimes wish that GOD had not made us and given us the ability to BE IN LOVE with someone who is not in LOVE with us back.

That to me, is the WORST feeling in the whole world......

Do yourself a favor, guard your heart, there are people out there that will RIP it out and EAT it in front of you......and then MOCK your pain....right in your FACE.

Thank you for the encouraging words, mireya. No need to worry though cause I know the Lord will deal with it in HIS OWN WAY and HIS OWN TIME. I am too busy enjoying my life and basking in his love.

I really dont mind being single either..... no one to tell you what to do all the time... or how they dont like this or they dont like that... change this do that blah blah BLAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH im really not bitter... i promise... IM NOT BITTER AT AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ohh sorry once again..... my apologies lol
 
I don't mind being single when it's not displayed in front of me... If I'm at home or at church (small church only a handful of people) or at work my singleness isn't front and center... however, it does become painful for me when I'm out in public at a concert or the store and I see all these couples walking together...holding hands... all the things that come with having that "other". The desire to have a life partner is soo strong in my that it physically hurts many times when the fact that I do not have that is front and center.

How does one give up a desire like that, that is soo strong in one's life? I've asked God over and over but I'm still waiting on an answer...
 
I'm not sure how to answer that....but I so get ya point about coping when it's not front and center......if I have to hear Aunt Dolcey say (at the next family gathering ie wedding or funeral)......'Aren't you married yet????'.....in a loud voice for everyone to hear......I think I'ma gonna punch Aunt Dolcey in da nose :p :p
