Well, at the request of the intention of the original poster as well as the lovely and beautiful Kate & Jullianna, I will do my best to fulfill this request
-Someone who takes the time to be a part of my life, not just having me be a part of theirs.
-Someone who takes initiative in getting to know me, by asking questions and exploring my world. Curiosity is a virtue on my list.
-Someone who isn't afraid to go with me on crazy adventures, like backpacking, skiing, seeing my extended family or just getting away for a while.
-Someone who wants to grow with me, learning together, challenging each other in ever part of our lives to be better than we were before. Not someone who has to feel good enough about something or they won't even try it.
-Someone who isn't afraid to face something terrible with me, when things get rough either in their life or mine, like a death in the family, they don't run away from me.
-Someone who doesn't mind hanging out on my laundry day or talking with me while I run errands or do chores.
-Someone who takes my part, stands up for me, believes in what I believe in. Someone who shares my faith, even if they do not share the degree of passion about it.
-Someone who's attentions and affections are actually not just for anyone but, they understand that some things are sacred and not to be shared with everyone, like secrets.
-Someone who works problems out with me first, before she complains about a problem with all of her people. That way they all of her people don't hate me.
-Someone spontaneous, who chooses to surprise me without any invitation or suggestion. (I think this is a regional thing. Has never happened here but happened almost once a week in Florida)
-Someone who realizes that I want to her and I to be a team. No one else gets to be on our team. When the friends and family have left and there are no more events to attend, we will still be a team.
-Someone who doesn't keep track of how much I've done for them or try to 'get even' on an imaginary ledger by deliberately paying for random stuff. They should only do what they feel like doing, nothing more, nothing less. I'm not interested in how much is owed either way. If I bought them a car, I don't need a check or anything in return. When I do something thank you is enough. Its not because I expect anything but, because I wanted to, because I feel like they deserve it.
