Absolutely sir, you are most welcome. And thank you for your comment. I totally agree. This fatal sin is now a strong hold in most modern churches. I am just glad there are still godly men who are addressing this big issue. As it is very vital to do do.

I have to ask.....why would a man chose porn to making love with his mate? I have heard some guys say that porn is totally different to making love to a woman............can one of you please explain this to me? I am totally confused.
I think that most people who haven't dealt with a porn addiction wouldn't readily understand, any more than people who have never dealt with a drug addiction would understand why people would literally throw their lives and families away for their next high. Studies that have included brain scans of men viewing pornography have found that while viewing pornography the brain activity is almost identical to that of someone who is getting high on narcotics. Simply put, porn can be just as addictive as illicit drugs, and similar to a drug addiction will begin to give diminishing pleasure without increasing quantities, or more perverse material. I have heard of men who are so addicted that it is literally impossible for them to become aroused by normal sexual activity. In light of this it is no small surprise that a large number of people who have committed sex crimes have pornography issues.
Thank God that my intense porn consumption never became an addiction I guess... I know many who would disagree. Maybe I really was protected, who knows.
I think as long as the viewing of pornography does not hurt anyone (the performer, or the viewer) in any direct way I don't think it is a problem. Obviously, if it becomes an addiction then it is a problem, like an other addiction. But I think everything in moderation.
Unrepentent sin, even in moderation, leads to hell. There are just some things that 'moderation' doesn't work with.
Jesus said, "whoever has looked at a woman with Lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
this is also the whole issue with Masterbation. In and of itself I do not believe it is a sin but, the heart of the matter and the motivation behind it is what makes it a sin.
I even suppose the same thing could be said of the difference between killing and murder. Soldiers kill during war but it is not considered murder. Whereas if I smoked my neighbor over the head with a rock because he "deserved" it, then that would be considered Murder.
God is the one who judges the heart. It is not for me to decide what we should or should not do. I am only the moral authority in my own life. And all of this is just my opinion. It probably won't change yours but it should at the very least make you consider the "heart" of the matter.
I agree with you Simplyme_bekah, pornography is idolatry and it is a fantasy. I believe that this pornography epidemic is one of the main reasons why so many marriages are falling apart in America. What is even more sad about this sin is that it leads its addicts into doing more abominable sins. Sins such as rape, incest, pedophilia, sodomy, and even beasteality. It is very vexing and disheartening to see how far our nation has walked away from God and how it has kept its back turned to Him. This verse in the Bible is very sobering:
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. - Psalm 9:17 (Holy Bible)
Now having said that, I do believe that the gift of sex and love making is heightened and enjoyed the most when it is done the way God has designed it. Within the context of marriage as outlined in the holy Scriptures. And I believe when a Christian husband and wife follow the Bible's outline for intimacy and lovemaking, then they won't need to look for the worlds "fake remedies" like "adult toys" or "explicit pornographic videos" to try to help improve their sex life. Because they'll already know that they do not need the worlds carnal tools to do that, they will know they have everything they need in the Scriptures.
There is no moderation with this. Trust me, its an addiction. People say, oh I will try a little pot, its harmless after all. They do it and they like it. Now when something bad happens or they are stressed they remember that the pot felt good and they do it again. This keeps repeating and escalating exponentially until they become addicted.
Trust me when I tell you that porn is the exact same thing. Also food addiction. There are many of these addictions, with things that seem harmless. It starts as a reaction to not having a GF or BF. You say to yourself, well God made me to be married by my mid 20's, so what can I do. My body wants it. So I give my body what it wants.
But then very soon you NEED it like you need food. And when stress and problems happen in your life, you tend to waste hours and hours on it, which actually makes your problems even worse because you don't do things you are supposed to and wonder where the time went. Its a vicious cycle of hell.
