So last night was my Sunday, and I saw Rachel Ray on the Tonight Show; she made a comment so is this true, if it is why didn't you women tell us guys?

She stated, that the sexiest thing a man can do is wash dishes. Is this true? For if it is true I will follow II Kings 21:13; and memorize it.
 
I find this to be a very untrue statement. I have heard women say it before.

Maybe the married women whose husband just lay around on the couch all day and don't help out at all.... maybe when they've actually peeled themselves off of the lazy boy for five seconds and did some dishes, i can see how the woman would think it was..........

actually no, even then i cant see how that is sexy. It's just a man standing at a sink doin dishes

Man, and I was gonna start walking around with a wet rag and a dirty plate wherever I go. Now I have to think of something else.
 
I do think it is sexy, if its your man.
When my step brother does the dishes for me, its not sexy.
I cant see me dating a man unless he does something nice for me.
 
Oh if he opens the door for me or cuts the grass. I dread cutting the grass on my ski slope of a yard.
 
if you made as many dirty dishes as Rachel Ray that mind be the sexiest thing a man could do.

Will I guess I could learn how to cook, since Julianna like that, I can always open an door and mown lawns, like Brisker was saying. But Catwoman for us clueless guys, give us a hint what would you consider nice?

I think the ladies will agree with me on this when I say that they are all different when it comes to what they view as being "sexy" in a man. For one lady it may be a man cooking them a nice meal, for another it may be seeing her man all hot and sweaty after working in the yard all day, or her man putting on a suit and tie and taking her out to a really nice restaurant and ballet.

I think the key here is getting to know your lady and what SHE likes and then doing it even if it goes against your personal tastes.

and see for me they are just chores in which both partners should share and take care of i dont know how that could be sexy? loll
unless they are dating lazy ppl which holly spoke of who are spending all day on the couch watching tv but still how is it sexy? lol
 
I think the "sexiest" thing is a guy who is confident (but not cocky), someone who knows who he is and doesn't permit anyone or anything to try to make him be someone he isn't, especially a woman. THAT is hot ;)

Every once in a while I read a post and hope my own post wasn't misunderstood. I'll clarify just in case. I wasn't implying that people should change who they are in order to impress a special someone, but that a man in the attitude of servanthood, should be willing to do some things he doesn't necessarily enjoy at least occasionally.
 
Well I wash dishes in a restaurant, so I guess that makes me pretty sexy;)
 
This is totally a love languages thing. there are five.

1.Gifts
2.Physical Touch
3.Words of Affirmation
4. Quality Time
5. Acts of Service

If a woman finds things being done for her to be a sign of affection, then a man doing the dishes might mean he loves her. Depends on the person.

As a side note: Quality Touch and Physical Time are not Love Languages. ;)
 
Oh, how I wish what she said, was true, the last three days at work, all I did was clean items very close to dishes--the produce wet wall, and the meat wall.

Hmm..I don't think I have a favorite chore, but my LEAST favorites are drying dishes and ironing. Fortunately, I have a dishwasher and don't have to now. And they say that it is more sanitary to allow dishes to air dry anyway. Who am I to argue? :D
