Why should the word 'suck' be in a littlechristiangirl's vocabulary. I admit, I immediately , nor write off, but give astute attention to any girl that uses the 'suck' word. You know whatvI mean, as, when someone says some bad news and you say, 'That sucks.'


I know, Iknow, littleCone, you are JUST posting a picture with someone else's words, or, even your own words, and, God says believing in His Son's sacrifice gets you an everlasting life. But....

And, it's a big 'butt,' up there, do you really want to say swear type words?
The easy ones then CAN (not always) become bigger words and JUST saying swear words, milady, puts a something-something in your heart of unspeakable said something bothering you because Jesus wants our heart full of Him, and, the only thing we should be sucking down, if you will, aré Bis blessings to us, which, of course, IF we aré living and walking in Him aré going to be overflowing that 'cup' we drink (suck) from to keep that cup continously getting a chance to overflow. :)


Made some sense, I hope and pray, but Jesus is clear as Everclear, littleCone, we are not to swear, it's noylt just saying Lord's name in vain that's bad to do (punishable? You do know, I hope, that taking Lord's name in vain IS 'punishable,' per scripture , so, def, don'T do that ), it's in scripture, and, this goes for words that can bestill (stop?) our God-beating hearts.

God bless you, young lady, that is a cute picture of a puppy, reminds me of my 65 pound pity/German shorthair that long ago I could fit in the palm of my hand and , she's fun now, too, but she was a lot of really cool fun, too, as a pup :) . It did brighten my day :)
The Lord leads, I know you meant nothing by that word to be mean, just some words to think about from me, which I pray is from He :) Yes, your spirit is seen on c.c. and it is one beating with your heart after God .

Honestly, 'suck' isn't a swear word or else I wouldn't have posted it. If you want you can ask Oncefallen or someone else to see if it should be taken off.

I haven't really seen it as a swear type word, even. I say it sometimes and I have no desire to cuss. It really just is another word for 'stink' like when someone says 'oh man this or that stunk!' or when something bad happens and they say, 'This stinks!' I don't see how 'suck' could be even a replacement cuss word.

And I'd rather be struck by lightning than say God's name in vain :p

but I'm glad the picture did brighten your day!
 
Green, if you weren't aware, the connotation of the "sucks" has really changed a lot since some of us were younger. Lil is unaware of the inappropriate connotation and I'm not about to try to explain it to her. That would just be awkward and inappropriate in and of itself.

Personally when that word comes up I look at the context, and I have no issue with it here.

OK, oncefell, and, I know no context of bad intent meant by littleCone, but, I just, personally, don't like that word used. But, I know, too, I am not a part of genX , or, 'Y' or , are we to 'Z' yet :D

Seriously, I am a stickler for swear words and I think talk about 'butts' (guys and gals) is just plain not cool. But, yeah, those are my feelings, and, I like the picture, and, context or no context, I just plain don't like 'suck' in any way, shape, or, form, except sucking down food or drink, or, some kind of inspirational meaning like for finishing off working or a sports practice hard , like running lines to end football practice, like idiom, 'suck it in.'

But, yeah, I know the Lord leads and you are lord over all we peeps on c.c., so, I both respect and acknowledge your wires, oncefell, God bless you, wolf fella :)

And, littleCone, as I said, I , in my own reading your posts never sense a heart not after God's own, and, I'm glad to hear you Taiwán seriously not saying Lord's name in vain. That is a HUGE peeve of mine, and, instant turn-off IF she uses 'OMG,' or uses God's name in any way that is not respectful to Him.
 
yeah and honestly I rarely use the word 'suck' because my mom doesn't like it either (she probably knows why, too, since she's actually a bit older than you and Once). But on the occasion when I'm really bummed or hyped up I'll say it.

But I'm glad everyone is on the same page now :) last thing I wanna do is cause controversy >.<
