Every time my fiancee leaves somewhere, I have to stay home (hence the lonely) Every time my fiancee leaves, my dad won't let me go with him (hence the misunderstood, because my dad doesn't understand that I want to go too). Every time my fiancee leaves, we get into one argument or another (hence the hurt, because I hate arguing with him).
Lynn! You seem like a smart girl. You know 17 is very young. You know tons of people on CC, smart people, don't feel they can be in a relationship because a good relationship involves controlling your emotions and being fair and responsible about everything. I see it like this: The relationship God asks of us is very similar to the relationship God expects of of us between man and woman. I know I know its only small arguments here and there, I know I know its none of my business.
So it takes a lot of patience to be in a relationship. The one with us and God is rocky because we want so many things in the world yet we are clambering to find a hold of Him. The ones between man and woman are very rocky too especially because both people want different things a lot of times, or sometimes. Just be patient. One thing that helps me a lot is knowing that an argument is when 1 person won't listen to another person, you can tell yourself or the other person that they are not being fair and if they really want whats best for both then fairness is required.

I will pray for MrHonest that the Lord will lift Him up and replace his cloak of heaviness with a garment of praise and take away his sadness and restore to him the Joy in His salvation. What ever is ailing my Brother I pray the Lord will deliver him from and pour upon Him the balm of healing and fill him with the Holy Spirit until his cup runneth over Amen God Bless you Brother
