Your entire argument is based on the misguided fact that Jesus somehow negated the entirety of the old which is never mentioned anywhere in scripture that I am aware of. Jesus overwrote the law which mostly comes from the beginning of the Old Testament, hence why the old sacrifices, temples, and such are never followed. I don't remember him negating the psalsm or proverbs or anything of the sort. And you also never explained how the instruments in heaven in revelation are symbolic outside of just claiming they are.

It is mentioned all over the NT. First in the begining of the gospels, in which Christ shows His laws compared to "that of the old". "but i say unto you" - and takes them out of the way.

They are never followed by some, by others, they still are, yet it is sin to do so.

Psa, Pro, are not law books, they are poetic in nature. And if they use parts of the law to express a beauty found under the law, that does not give us the right to put them to use in our worship.

Concerning Revelation:
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts (Literal beasts or figurative?)
and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb(Lit lamb or fig?)
, having every one of them harps(literal all of a sudden?),
and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints (Literal vials of oder that are really prayers?)

So you asking me to take out of a figurative book, in a highly figurative chapter and context, and "prove" why it is not literal?

Do you also believe their was literal beasts, a literal lamb, and literal vial of odors which are prayers? This is all in one passage. I don't need to prove it should not be taken literally, that's just common sense with the rest of the context.

Since you have the more bizarre interpretation, you need to prove why one should take this literal.

So we all know of the Jewish Feast of Trumphets also know as Rosh Hashanah, I know this is an OT thing (Leviticus 23:23-25; Numbers 29:1-6).

But maybe not, we see the Second Coming of Jesus being associated with what of all things a Trump/Trumphet (I Corinthians 15:52; I Thessalonians 4:16). If my God and Saviour Coming is going to be announced by this instructment, why can I play a instrument of my choice to glorify Him?

To try to do away with instructment because we are under grace and not the law, sound a little strange to me. Being under Grace should I not have more reason to praise God as I please. Paul did not condemn musicial instructments in I Corinthians 13:1, but in my opinion seems to be glorifying them when used with the love of Christ in us.

Okay sure. I shouldn't have to tell this to a 39 year old, but it would be so much easier just to say, "Oh I thought you started the thread", but that would be the un-prideful, mature,, and Christian thing to do, since you questioned me of being "provocative".

I make mistakes all the time, when I do, I just apologize and move on, not try my hardest to make it appear I didn't do what I clearly did.

And don't reply through PM's if you don't want me to press reply, just talk here.

Well your placing me under your law, by saying if I don't use instruments I am not under grace. So one who ONLY does what is commanded, and does not use the OT for justification for adding to the NT, is now not under grace.
Hmmmmmmmm, what does that sound like to you?

Read it closer, it's implied. If because we are under grace and NOT law, we should worship as we please, and I have "done away with instruments" (at least in worship) then it implies I am living under the law.

Or thats what i get, if he did not mean that, I am sorry. I may have jumped to conclusions a little fast, but that's where it always ends up when I discuss this. But it seemed implied, and headed there.

If an unmarried woman wants to ask a married man to stop harassing her via CC mail, pressing reply is kind of necessary. It's also necessary when forwarding the entire conversation to the mods.

NO it's not necessary, you could have said it here. So your trying to get the whole "harassment" thing going. The Mods can read the messages, no one surely is trying to hit on you, so the whole "married" thing is just another pathetic tactic to try and make something out fo nothing.

I sent you a message, ONLY dealing with what you said, because even that "provocative" statement was also a pathetic tactic to make is seem as if it was me who posted, I was "provoking" in the "singles area" which is slander, it does not matter if it's in a question form, it's retorichol and only there to trash me because I dont believe what you do.

I did read your response, it was rude and insensitive to my belief. Not that I care if you use instruments, but to try and place a vid there just in spite of me, is not praise, nor is it very Christian.
Would you also eat meat sacrificed to idols in from of those who believe it's a sin, just to it? You probably have no idea why I said that, as unfamiliar you are with the basic Christian attitude.

You admitted nothing, you just "yes yes it wasn't you" as if you already knew that. So yea, that's a pretty sad admission of guilt.

I will post this whole thread, and the PMS to the MODS in defense, since you want to take it there, and they can see your hypocritical attitude I am sure they see this kind of thing alot, and I doubt you will fool them. And then you can just stop talking to me please.

If you really think the mods are going to see things your way you are sadly mistaken.
She happens to be friends with most of the mods here, and deservedly so.
