Yes God is good, to those who fear and obey Him! I dont know you but hope and pray you understand this:
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance!
God is no respector of persons, many think His blessings are a sign He is condoning our sins and worldliness, which He is not!
If you are still in bondage to sin, and love the world more than God, or are in a church that told you, you are saved because you said the sinners prayer, and accepted Jesus in your heart, without first repenting, and seeking His great mercy, then you are still double minded, and IN sin and worldliness, again I said I dont know you, but if this is you, out of love, I ask you to check your heart, seek His mercy through repentance, and know His great patients and long suffering wont last forever, and His blessings are not a sign you are right with Him, only a heart made pure through repentance and an obedient faith in love, following Jesus on the narrow road. Which is the crucified life!
Pro 1:24 Because I called, and you refused; I stretched out my hand, and no one paid attention;
Pro 1:25 but you have despised all my advice, and would have none of my warning.
Pro 1:26 I also will laugh at your trouble; I will mock when your fear comes;
Pro 1:27 when your fear comes as a wasting away and your ruin comes like a tempest when trouble and pain come upon you.
Pro 1:28 Then they shall call upon me, and I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me;
Pro 1:29 instead they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Jehovah.
Pro 1:30 They would have none of my counsel; they despised all my correction,
Pro 1:31 and they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own desires.
Pro 1:32 For the turning away of the simple kills them, and the ease of fools destroys them.
Pro 1:33 But whoever listens to me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear or evil.
Remember, repentance isnt a confession of your sins, but actually stopping them, before mercy can even begin to be granted, 2 Cor 7-10-11, Acts 3-19,Acts, 20-21, ISA 55-7.
