All i can say is GOD ONLY KNOWS. They say Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. Something along those lines, LOL. Anyways, GOD IS GOOD!
 
Pretty food? naaaaahhhh my favorite it gumbo and that certainly is not pretty XD Lol
 
I was thinking specifically of comments I hear about going to farmers' markets. Pretty eggs, pretty tomatoes, etc. I think ugly tomatoes taste better, lol.
 
I looove the farmers market this time of year. Peaches from Palisade, sweet corn from Olathe, cantaloupe from Rocky Ford. Mmmmmmmmmmmm :):)
 
I love curry. It's not very pretty either. :)

It's not just food; I like beautiful everything :). No, seriously, the pretty food is more likely to be healthy (and not yet spoiled) than the ugly food is. Think of fresh berries; they're the most nutritious (and generally the best tasting) when they are the prettiest (especially when the color is the most even on all sides). Men can't be too bothered by the presence of ugly food, as they're traditionally the hunters. If they were too "Ew, this deer looks gross with all this blood on it; I'm outta here", then the human race wouldn't have gotten enough protein. Also, that's probably part of the reason that men don't tend to mind gore and yucky things as much; they'd have a harder time removing the inedible parts of game they killed if they were all "EWWWWWW!!!!!!" about icky stuff :).
