Oracle, men seem to de-stress with laughter, while women seem to cry when they have reached the point of SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. While the women like the sympathy (okay, not all of them.... some women abhor it), men seem to get over the pain better if a joke is made of the situation. If someone were to laugh when I got hurt, I'd take it as an insult.
Okay, I doubt I'm going to have time to read through the first 30 pages of this. Or however many we're up to by now. Great thread, DiDiOh, we should rate it; I'll do so when I'm done typing, assuming I don't forget. Anyway, other than the first few pages, and the previous few pages, I haven't read most of this thread, so IDK if anyone has asked this yet, but I'll volunteer the answer
. The reason that women get cold quicker than men is simple: we have the babies with us more, so we need to be more sensitive to temperature changes, since the babies are more sensitive. If we feel cold, we're much more likely to remember to cover up the little one. Same goes for feeling hot sooner; we have a small threshold for comfort to make sure the baby stays in an acceptable range. At least, that's what I think; it makes sense anyway
.
I like your answerI don't know if we really LIKE them, but we need them for grass mowing purposes and to reach the high stuff
Seriously though, they are snuggly if properly groomed, funny and can actually hold a more intelligent conversation than my dog, so I think they're pretty cool![]()
Okokokok..REALLY serious now. We respect them as leaders. We like a strong shoulder to lean on. We like feeling loved and protected.
Men and women have different mating strategies and must live up to some minimum requirements to be accepted in our culture.
Men size up women as baby-making material, and women size up men as a meal ticket.
If a man will not provide for his wife, it really does not matter what else he does. If a women will not care for her children, again it really does not matter what else she does.
Men also have to exhibit handyman skills, and women some home economic skills - a lot of overlap is okay though. But for the high-end duties, they fall along man/woman traditions. Like my wife won't let me touch the important laundry (towels are okay), and I refurbished the grill (seriously dirty, grungey, and grill parts that should effortllessly fit together, don't).
I have also noticed that when a man gets injured in a group of men, they usually laugh (at least at first), about the injury. Women sympathize from the start. Any idea why?

If not, our feet might accidentally find the middle of their backs in the middle of the night while they sleep. I have heard of such things happening.![]()
You better figure out how to conceal a generator on your person so you can operate your hair dryer and curling iron.![]()
Me thinks you speak in half truths. Somehow I think what you heard was the hollering that comes as a direct result of a certain red head's cold foot stuck in the middle of someone's back in the middle of the night.
People alllllllllllways seem to think such terrible things of redheads, don’t they? Not sure why that is.
It isn't the hair color, nor the gender that causes the thought process. It's knowing that a particular female ginger has a devious side.![]()
okay, question!
....
who enjoys cooking? I'm wondering if more men like cooking more than women or women like cooking more than men.
