What is more important than eternal life? We know that wilfull sin against God isnt the normal Christian experience, and I think we all need to be grounded firmly in the faith, before we can be sure we have the prize!
Its not hard or difficult to obey God, but the flesh must be crucified in repentance first, then you will see why your negative things you hate to confront such as lust, hoimosexuality, masterbation, OSAS, etc. all lead down the road to perdition, unless repented of!
Sorry for being negative, I know you were looking for some clean jokes, and a few funny stories, but salvation is a serious matter, not to be taken lightly.
Jas 4:7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.
Jas 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness.
Jas 4:10 Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Humility comes from a broken contrite heart, made pure in repentance, the sin is put to death with Christ, and those who think they are saved who still commit these vile sins even on occasion, need to get serious,(repent) dig deep for the truth, and stay focused on things above.
There is nothing wrong with enjoying life, having fun, relaxing etc,,, but our main motivation should be being a doer of the word of God, by walking the narrow road seperated from the lies and lustful attractions of the world.
If your heart is pure, thus made pure through an obedient faith, where the sin stops in repentance(crucified with Christ) not in the false provision, but in reality, then you will be walking in puriy, sincerity and love, which is the purpose of the commandments!

Did you miss the parts where I encouraged people to post what God was doing in their lives, things what would edify other believers and prayer requests? This thread is NOT solely for entertainment purposes.
If you have actually read my posts about those topics in threads that were actually about those topics, you would realize how far off base you are regarding your presumptions of me, but I know you mean well. Thanks for your post!

I had the most amazing chocolate-chip muffin today
Oh and God has really opened my eyes to some things lately.. took some serious slapping me in the face to get me to see what was right in front of me, but I see now, I really do! I have learnt even when we're STUBBORN, God still gets His way- it's just a more painful process for us that it needs to be! *sigh*

Don't worry Katie, you're in good company among plenty of mule headed stubborn people that God needs to occasionally smack upside the head to get our attention. My life brings whole new meaning to the old hymn He Touched Me. I'll let the others who are just as bull headed rat themselves out even though I know who some of them are.
