everyone needs to have the pin number of his name in his fore-head,,,,,,the ones who don't have jobs don't have debit cards because they don't have bank accounts,,,,so then the need to be on food stamps so that they all have the "number of their name" memorized in their foreheads,,,,,,one that they only have wisdom of ,,,,,,,,,just like you,,,,just like you to "but,sell and eat" just like the scripture says,,,,,,,,both the rich and the poor,,,,,,,,the rich got the pin number of their debit account in their forehead,,,and enter it with their right hand,,,and the poor got their pin number in their fore-head,,,and enter it with their right hand,,,,,and here you go crying about the poor people,,,,,they need to worship the beast too,,,,,,,what about you?you gonna cut up the card that you use and then enter the number of your name????you just think you don't have the number of your name,,,,,,,,"what's your credit score"?????????,,and to think your all worried about the economy,,,if you could just get them all off food stamps,,,,,,,then you could get the number of your name(credit score),,,,,,,,,worth even more,,,,,,,you'd be the man then wouldn't you?,,,,,,now food stamps,Medicare,Medicaid,,ect totals ,,,,,,,,,,,,".007" cents on a dollar,,,,,,,,,so you still need to any up another "9.3" percent,,,,,,,to your king so that your giving you 10 percent(tithes)to the poor,,,,,,,you just take your finger and put it on your fore head and say the pin number of your name a couple of times till it sinks in,,,,,,,,,then you'll see why the beast went to such great measures to also give it to the poor,,,,,,,and you believe me god said the beast would give the "pin number of your name in your fore=head",,,,,,,,,so don't panic and think the beast is gonna bankrupt themselves giving them ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"food stamps",,,,,,,,,,,
 
You know what, I am on food stamps. I got laid off and all of the jobs where I live are not hiring because it is seasonal where I live. When you find yourself in a spot where you need food stamps to survive because no one is hiring....um you swallow your pride and you become very very thankful that they are there for you. Trust me, I know.
 
i was recieving food stamps when i was a single mom going to school and working at the sametime. thats when i really needed them and now i have a well earning job and i am no longer receiving assitance, so in a way foodstamps help alot of ppl when they are in need, but then again you have the ppl that cheat the system, and have jobs but get paid in cash and do not report taxes, other claim to be single mothers and get alot of other benifits along with foodstamps and they have their partners living with them, i see alot of this where i live, and its really sad. sometimes it makes me think these young girls having kids only for benifits that they go out and sell for cash...
 
bekah -- wanted to say I'm sorry for sounding like your dad or worse and fill in the blank. I can just feel it inside of me America is headed for hard times and I don't believe it is far off. To tell the truth I thought we would already be there and while things have not move as fast as I thought they are moving.

Look if we are living at the time I believe we are then you are born at this time for a reason. The Lord needs us and he needs us to lead and I believe that is to be a little prepared. Now I understand that the Lord said he will take care of us, but that taking care may be my food that I never get to eat helping some new Christian or one who has been serving the lord for years that’s starving.

I just see so many people tell me it will never happen and I use to be the same way at least in my life time, but I believe we are there. I believe we are most likely living at the time of the lord.

And if that is true then you are born at this time for a reason. The Lord must need you, and all you can bring, and all they can bring.

Look to make a long story short. I am sorry but please start preparing for hard times. Have at least 1 week worth of water and food. Now when I say food buy you a can food and one can is a meal. You want be full, but you want be starving either. 2 weeks would be better so you can maybe help someone else. At least you want panic. This will give you time to calm down and think if it gets worse, but always remember a little more is better.

Look you may not even be at home when something major happens but that food may help a neighbor out.

What if God provides you with food stamps to survive for a season? Does He give you the "mark of the beast"? Cmon now...

A few years ago my parents hit rock bottom. Like literally rock bottom. We had food stamps, medicaid, I received free school lunch, and my fees were waived so I know where you are coming from. My mom lost her job and couldn't get another and my dads job only paid $13 an hour and he only got 26 maybe 30 hours a week if he was lucky. To top it all off my grandmother passed away so my dad accumulated $6000 in funeral expenses and that was the cheapest they offered. It isn't anything to be ashamed of though, not saying you are. My problem with food stamps is they just give them out like they are nothing without even checking to make sure the person needs them. My sisters mother-in-law had someone try to sell her some food stamps. She said no...I think. lol

Before the above situation happened my parents were living paycheck to paycheck. Could you please explain to me how you are to put money aside when your whole paycheck goes to things like the power bill, car payment, gas for the car so they could get to work, house payment, etc. Only time my parents ever bought anything that we did not need was at Christmas.
 
Maybe put your cell phone down, maybe don't wear the best of clothes, maybe eat hotdogs, maybe not go out. Maybe a smaller house.
 
^That is what is amazing to me, it seems like (some) "poor" Americans live in houses that to me look like the size of castles, and they can't afford food.
Kinda backwards.... Here I will always be ensured to have support to get food, but I will probably never be able to afford a house.

Well lets see I didn't have a cell phone(and I still don't), my mom didn't, my brother didn't, my dad only had one cause his boss paid for it cause we had no house phone and in case he needed to get in touch with my dad. I get my clothes from Wal-Mart and I still do to this day. A lot of times we just ate canned vegetables. We ate out like once every two months if that. We never really went out to stores. We lived in an apartment at first and then moved into a three bedroom trailer. When you are already doing those things and still living from paycheck to paycheck there really is no room for extra cash. Of course I am not complaining nor am I ashamed. I love my life and wouldn't trade it for anything I am just trying to get across the point that it isn't as easy as you say it is.

We lived in apartments at first and was only able to move because of my grandpa. When I said house payment I was generalizing. I meant any type of living arrangement where you are paying for it.
 
I'm sorry, I wasn't referring to you, that is why I bolded some :) It just seems to be a general trend down there
 
I am not surprised. We live opulent lives compared to the world as an average. I know a few back home whom really could survive by selling off some of what they own but, well, it is so much easier to be on welfare. I can not even afford a car, or cable or any of the "necessities" we define as a base level of life - they have them, and I suppose if I was willing to play the game, I could too. I think the system is out of control and the politicians just want to feed the masses more in order to make them beholding to them come election time.
 
Chip -- That's right and when hard times hit and the anti-christ says the only way you will buy or sell is with this mark they will jump at it. BEG HIM FOR IT
 
I am a product of that system. I was raised by a single mom with 3 kids to support. My dad eventually got his wages attached but it took a long while. As a little girl I remember sitting in lines at the welfare office and asking my mom if I could fill out the paperwork. We got food stamps. We were on welfare. We ate at the soup
Kitchen. The church carpeted our home because for years we had cement floors. They also made the repairs when necessary. As an adult I worked my butt off to get through college on financial aid only. I got one loan in 5 yrs and I still graduated from and accelerated program with honors. As an adult, I've had food stamps, medical, etc--all those things people gripe about paying taxes for. Well let me say this. If I can help one person like me survive life by paying taxes, then God has used that money well and I'm happy to give it. I would be dead if it weren't for this support.
 
Jordache -- Government don't need to give to these people. We need to give to each other. Give to your church and let your church help these people. The churched helped you. Government is not the solution it's the problem

The goverment does have to do it because the average person will not.

If your reason for not wanting to pay tax is that you feel people are living off it without it being justified, neither will you give money to charities supporting those people, right? So then no one gets help, if enough people think that way.

Yes there ARE many who life off the system and exploit it, but what about those who don't? They need it.
