They say knowledge is the best weapon
some say knowledge is the key
Can you not hear wisdom calling in the streets
The more you know of the word
the more you shall be set free

Don't dispise conviction
for the Lord loves who he's chastising
he doesn't do it to abuse
Its daily salvation and a cleansing
of the spirit
He draws you closer to him
He loves you,
he's a lover in love with you
and will not give up on you
don't give up on him
He is restoring you

For the word of God is living and active
Sharper than any double-edged sword
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit
joints and marrow
it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart

This is the unseen armor
the Spoken word is a sword
Our faith and trust in Christ is the shield
our helmet is Salvation unbreakable
our breastplate is knowing we stand right with God
because of Jesus.
our belt is the truth that comes from us,
and our knowledge of it
our shoes are fitted with the Gospel of Peace,
we share and walk with others
The armor of the spirit

Doesn't matter how this began
or what motivations we had
set in the beginning

What matters is that I believe
God is in control always

and what the devil meant for bad
God is going to turn around and use
this for his glory

maybe this love started out entirely in fear
but that was because it was coming
from someone who didn't entirely know
the love, grace, mercy, and faithfulness of God,
yet

he gives everything he has to show
that he loves me
even if it is only this way
nobody could understand the
struggles and great perils he was and is facing

He doesn't see the plan that God has for his life,
he doesn't know that God started a good
work in his life, and that if God starts
a good work he will finish it

as I said before, you will live and not die
and declare the works of the Lord,
God has a plan for good and not evil
for a hope and a future.

God will show you miracles, signs and wonders,
and you will have your own relationship with him.
that there is a call on your life.
God will show you this alone, to strengthen
your faith,

That fear will leave you day by day supernaturally,
and daily God will instill a new boldness and courage
inside your heart.

How I know you love me

Its hard to tell what your motives are at times
or if you were just using me, temporary
with the images displayed in my mind,
even the feelings of love and comfort
can't tell me you love me
because of the way things are
all this could come from anyone or
anything...

So how do I know you're the one for me?

because I've sought God out for that answer
he's given me scriptures, he's encouraged me
many times, its supernatural or else I would
have fallen by the wayside along time ago.

he told me to 'dream baby dream'
to believe you, when you say you love me
that its' going to be a beautiful thing
he wants me to persevere in this love with you
cause he see's inside and knows your heart
that it's true and that you are good for me,
the one I'll always be with
that he's for you, not against you

and I trust him with my heart
even though at times
everything looks so dark

and if my father says you are right for me
you are the person I will always see
If God said it, I believe it, that settles it,
