Your OP was an awesome example of testimony, with a genuine repent spirit. Saying, "I got slapped" for all to hear, and then God recieving the glory at the end of it all.....WONDERFUL!

But where this is going now?............Seriously, should I get popcorn and pull up a chair?
Sorry hun, i know it's beneath me to reply to his rhetoric, but the issue started on another thread, look up "surviving a cult" and you'll see how this person came against a part of my testimony, he acts as if i don't have proof then my testimony is not valid, and that just really gets under my skin, now here he is again coming against me, it's weird really, i guess i should be flattered that my life experiences seem to upset him so much!

The same way that some did to watch the 'Ali / Frazier Fight', you know the 'Thriller from Manila'. But you might be in a different time 'Zone', being from Canada and having to deal with all those other kinds of 'Judaizers'.

Don't you think it to be amazing how that some of those headsets drive that music right into those brain cells and start shattering them with all those vibrations and reverberations going back and forth from one cell to another. How exhilarating, must make one feel like they are in or maybe on 'ecstasy'.
Im actually laughing at this!
If you knew me, you would know i only listen to christian music, music that glorifys my Father!
And if anyone approaches me i always take them out to listen to that person
You would also know that i am a very kind and loving person
But all you can do is judge
so judge away, just remember when your pointing your finger at me , you have 3 more pointing at yourself
Take the log out of your eye, before trying to take out the speck from your brothers (or sisters) eye

Please forgive me for allowing myself to have been steered off the OP. I am still praying for John, have you had any word? Yahweh bless you for your testimony. It humbles the reader in a good way.

Carey, I think you are lovely and genuine in your love for Jesus and for others... I am curious what Christian music you listen to because so much of it these days exalts self...I love the Lord..I will lift Him up and magnify Him rather than lifting up the Lord...Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty...I think we as Christians need to be careful that what we call Christian music really is exalting the Lord and that we really are attentive to others so that they do not have to tap us on the shoulder before we notice their presence and we also need to humbly receive correction when we are even slightly in the wrong without becoming disgruntled and accusative...I have done a major sin lately that needed to be pointed out to me before I saw it and that is I have iinstantly assumed that because someone has apologised to me that they really have repented...they need to bear the fruits of repentance before the relationship is repaired...I allowed a sister to apologise and so resumed communication with her and then she attacked my husband for being head of house..which is what he is supposed to be

Well the music i listen to is mostly rock, such as
Disciple, red, skillet, pillar, & flyleaf
But my worship consists of
Vicky yohee, Brooklyn tabernacle, Israel & new breed & Salvador

I agree with you about true repentance, and how can anyone go against your husband for being the head of the household? Scripture points us in that direction. The only time we as wives are not to listen is if our man is leading us into sin, and if that happens we pray.thank you for your compliments and instruction, i do not take it lightly

Peace and blessings my sister

When someone attacks you keep in mind that you do not have to explain yourself to them. IF Red continues to harass you it may be a good idea to contact a moderator, and let one of them know the problems he is causing.
Continuing to respond to him seems to be what he wants. It breeds more anger and bitter words to continue on with communicating with someone who would rather chastise than speak with respect.

That might be a good thing to do if you really feel that I am harassing you. You are being confronted on things like we all have been confronted many times over and if you and Elizabeth think I am being disrespectful or out of order then report it and let them decide what should be done, if anything. I'm a big boy and I am not easily offended, but when it comes to evil, that makes me mad. If you want to get me mad then just say something evil about another person or ministry, but if you stay honest and your humbled by the grace of God, then that is good grounds for fellowship and not sarcasm or ridicule.

There is two types of evil in the world. One is kakos, or intrinsic evil that abides within the heart of every man and woman that was conceived in sin and shapen in iniquity. The second is poneros evil, which is an evil involving many labours that are deigned to come against the authority of God's word, His grace, the Holy Spirit and the members of the body of Christ in one form or another. Jesus did not shed His blood on the cross for either kakos or poneros evil. These evils we must be delivered from (deliver us from evil) because they are sourced and coordinated in the heart and in the world to produce iniquity to help Satan have preeminence through strongholds to hinder and prevail against the church.

If believers give place to poneros evil, that comes from the god of this world system, Satan will establish a stronghold and hold believers captive to his will and desires that he has devised against the church. If we are ignorant of these devised we can fall prey to hid strategies and become part of his many labours of evil that make up his kingdom in this present evil world. To speak evil of any ministry that God had raised up is cooperating and coordinating with these devises of iniquity that are put in place through the kingdom of darkness to prevail against local assemblies or those that have grown into international ministries to keep the gospel from going into all the world, so that Satan can continue to blind the minds of those that believe not. I get ugly with those (who through ignorance or otherwise) have become a part of this poneros evil that conspires against the church and what it has been called to do by grace to ministry Christ and His doctrine in all nations.

Believers that are reckless with their tongue and try to discredit an entire ministry with their evil untamed tongue should be condemned (stopped) at the root. You may not understand this in the will of God just yet but as you grow and have more experience in these matters, you will have the eyes of your understanding opened up to you, so that you can have wisdom to deal with this warfare that has been waged against the church and especially against those who are called of God.

I suppose there is room in our study to beware of the evils in the darkness of this present day world, but it is best to dwell on what is good and holy. Doing this always, when evil tries to encroach upon us, there will be no room for it because of our Lord, Yeshua, amen.

In light of the singular accusations and innuendo coming forth, it is most recommended for all to consider the teachings from the Word of Yahweh here below.
Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1Pe 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Gal 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

You were not there, you did not go through what i had to endure!!!!!
I gave you a website to go to, an expert on cults has declared that ministry to be a cult, there are several people that have gone through worse than me, physical abuse went on in that place, what i speak is not evil but truth. Again you were not there, i would like to see you last one week in my shoes, do not judge what you have no knowledge in

unless of course they speak TRUTH and not slander. unless they are who God talks about when He places in the hearts of His prophets about the cries of the weary and oppressed.

then we are not to be like the false people and give them false comfort and stand with those who claim to be of God but are not.
Luke 6:25-27

New King James Version (NKJV)

25 Woe to you who are full,
For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now,
For you shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you[a] when all[b] men speak well of you,
For so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27 “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

besides speaking in anger is never a good idea. God tells us to speak in love with humble hearts.

James 1

19 So then,[a] my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

When we have direct testimony in the scriptures and another is being addressed, we should know and understand the voice, mood and tense of the verbs so that we can get an idea of how it was being expressed in that moment . Like when our Lord groaned in His spirit because of their unbelief and cried out, 'Lazarus come forth' in (Jn 11:33-43) or when Jesus was addressing the scribes, the Pharisees and the Sadducees in (Mt 3,12,23) or even when He confronted the disciples in (Jn 14). We have this idea that Jesus was always this soft spoken and gentle man (and He was) but the mood of God was always being captured in the situation and it took on many different kinds of expressions including being angry with the evil leaven of the Pharisees and what was being done in making merchandise of the temple in (Jn 2). The scriptures also teach us that we can be angry but don't let the anger turn to sin in(Eph 4:26).

I have never liked it when anyone accuses and slanders a ministry or a servant of God for doing something that effected them in a negative manner. Some of you have been wounded in the church and you live in those wounds and they have gone deep. Have you ever thought that God did the wounding so that you would have to humble yourself and go to Him to get mercy and grace and perhaps some godly wisdom from above? But instead you hold them responsible (not God) and you can't help yourself from speaking evil because it's in your heart and God revealed it to be so. You don't like hearing that because it points to you as the one with the problem of evil and you can't confess your way out of it because God has to deliver you from it and whatever damage you have cause with your tongue has set a fire ablaze. I get ugly at that.

Prov 25:23

23 The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.

nope i don't enjoy watching my brothers and sisters being abused and calling it God's will. Its not God's will to have a husband disrespect and abuse his wife. God does NOT tell a woman to submit to a man who is NOT acting as Christ would. Neither does He tell people to submit to churches who do not act as God tells them they should.

You shouldn't get ugly and its not our hearts or tongues that are set a fire ablaze but your anger that blinds you.

So im sitting at the bus stop with my headphones on just listening to my music, a woman approaches me, i didn't realize she was trying to speak to me, when i took the earphones out, she just wanted to know what time the bus gets there, but with extreme attitude, so i tell her what time it gets there, and also tell her there's no need to be rude, she apologized and said her husband of 12 years ignores her and she thought i was ignoring her, and her nephew was in the hospital after getting shot in the head! Man you really never know what someone else is going through, so i got slapped by the Holy Spirit for my quick judgment of someone else. So why don't we all be a little more patient with each other, especially those we meet outside our comfort zone
apologize Carey for getting off topic.

I do have issues with the lack of real human interaction and have to personally conciously turn off all electronics some days as well.
