Done before you asked.
eph. 4
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Please accept my apology.

Sounds like your saying that if a woman gets raped and ends up pregnant, then the only right choice is to have an abortion? Which would mean not having an abortion, and keeping the child, would be the wrong choice. Where is the "free will" in that?
I'm sorry I was not more clear. I keep forgetting that English is not your first language, and I will try to minimize my use of slang or other potentially confusing phrases. Just so that you know, in English, when you say a person "strikes out" at another, it means they disagree or argue vehemently. You disagreed with me vehemently. That's all the phrase means. It's not necessarily a bad thing. I think it's great that you have such passion. So when someone accuses you of "striking out," by no means should you deny it; wear that label proudly!first i did not strik on you i just Quoted your comment
First of all, I am female, so "sister" would be more appropriate ... but I know it's hard to keep track. By the time you're posting a response, the screen doesn't show you any information from the profile, so if you forgot to look closely at my profile before clicking "respond," I understand why you might make that mistake. I make it all the time myself. Just another reason to slow down, breathe, think before you click. Give yourself some time before you respond. It's a lesson I need to learn for myself for sure!second do you think yourself agree with me ?!
you wrong brother
Yes. I also think stealing bread is a sin, even if you do it to feed your family. It is still stealing. Whether any of the alternatives to stealing bread are better or worse does not change the fact that God said, "Do not steal." The fact that feeding your family is a more important thing than not stealing, and therefore there is nothing to feel guilty about, is an important one to make to someone who has stolen bread, if he or she is feeling guilty, but it doesn't erase the words that God said. The fact is, we all sin. Sometimes getting in your car and driving instead of riding your bike it's a sin. Choosing this brand over that one can be a sin. It's everywhere, all around us. Every time you turn around, you will see it staring its ugly eyes back at you.you think abortion is a sin even if it is because of a rape
Well, I think it is both. I think it is both a sin AND a woman's right. Since when do women not have the right to sin? What, only men have the right to sin, but women have to be perfect? I must have missed the Gospel where Jesus said that.i think abortion is not a sin it is woman right
Well, I know you're wrong here, because I know women who have kept the children resulting from rape and do live happy lives. I'm not saying EVERY woman can do this, and certainly not EVERY woman should, but I know there are some who can .... and if she can, she should .... if that is her choice.you think if a woman keep the semen of the rapist she can live healthy life
i think it is never healthy it is sick
Now, see, here's where you might convince me that we are not in agreement. I am PRO CHOICE. I believe that the woman should always have the choice, whatever choice that may be.you think abortion after rape is a sin but
i think it is not lousy choice it is the only right thing to do there is no choice
And, unless I'm missed a point somewhere along the way, you vote AGAINST giving the woman a choice in the matter, whereas I vote FOR giving the woman a choice.it is not about your Diagnosis for what you do not like about me it is about rape victims right to abortion
Not at ALL what they're saying. They're saying that simply because a woman gets raped doesn't mean she should not have the OPTION of abortion. If the mother's life is in danger through childbirth, she should have the OPTION of abortion. Using it as optional birth control? WRONG. Using it preserve the life of the mother? the OPTION should be there.

Congratulations for overcoming it. I mean that in all sincerity. I have not. I probably never will be I've been told by too many pastors and Christians that I was a whore as a child and probably begged for it to happen. I don't go outside past when I get out of work. I refuse to stay in a house by myself in the dark. I understand PTSD as well. But that's what I get for asking to be raped. I know.
My last post on this thread was completely out of bounds and
over the line.
In some states (such as your own Florida), this is the issue. But in others, it's more than that. Republicans are trying to pass legislation that makes abortion illegal. So not only would taxpayer dollars not be used, even if a woman were to pay for it herself, she could not get one legally. In the official party platform material, the party states that abortion should be illegal in all cases, even in cases of rape, incest, and when the mother's life is at risk. That means that if she has an ectopic pregnancy that has 0% chance of coming to term, and 100% of killing the mother if it is not removed, it is still illegal to have it removed. No one who is pro-life can logically be in favor of that stance, but that is what the Republican Party's official platform is.The Florida ballot specifically addressed the public funding aspect of abortion and didn't address the morality of it at all, and I'm thinking that may be that's the case as well for the other states? (You guys tell me...) I am still led to believe that abortion is a sin, but let's not have taxpayer dollars appropriated towards it.
We are in 100% agreement on this issue! We also had an amendment on using public funds towards religious institutions this year, which I also fundamentally oppose.

We could make arguments about public funding of abortions, and I can totally see both sides of that one. But as for its legality, I cannot see any argument for the government, a bunch of mostly men who have never met me, to decide for me and my doctor what is best for me. I will make those choices between myself and my God, thank you very much.

We don't always see eye to eye, but I really love how courteous you are to everyone you respond to, even when you get a reaction that might not be so nice. Just wanted to say thanks, sister.![]()
Like it or not, it's what scripture says.. A gift from God? Who is he kidding.
