Hehe I wanted to say that usually you can count on them to have their panties in a bunch over very trivial things. :P

But instead I'll just say that, with the Christians I'm around at least, I can always count on them to be compassionate and willing to pray with me about anything at the drop of a hat. I'm not sure that's the case with all Christians but it's definitely a huge blessing from the ones in my life. :)

Positive: Provide a loving sense of community.

Negative: Use their faith as a fallback reason for every decision they make when in reality their faith or what "God said" had nothing to do with the decision-making process.

I think forgiven is the only word that fits, honestly. I wouldn't say loving or patient or anything else. Forgiven is the only word that describes all the Christians I've met.

First of all I disagree with the negative reason about Christians about falling back on God when we should decide. I first of all, am confused not about God's will but what I want to do with my life. Secondly, Christians can help me rethink my thinking on subjects like holidays and such. If these were not here, I would not have grown better in my understanding of God's word and other things. Thank you, Christians and due to my addiction to porn, everyday I need your prayers. God bless.

You may have misread my statement.

It isn't that people fall back to God in the form of reliance that is the problem, it is when they hurt others, sin, or simply make stupid decisions and that they made, and then chalk it up to the fact that the Lord led them in this direction. It's away of reducing cognitive dissonance and the consequences of personal responsibility.

They could know full well what God's problem is or at least know in the back of their minds what God wants. They could be going through a dry spell and not hearing God. In this they could be acting contrary to whatever God would direct. Either way, if it has a negative impact of any kind, the distal cause is God's "urging."

If you have not seen this yet, you will.

One thing I can always count on with Christians is that they always... make me feel as if I have to walk on eggshells until I really know them.

My favorite Christians are the ones who are ex-strippers, drug users, gang members, etc. I know I can tell them ANYTHING and it won't phase them, nor will they judge. And if I can't find Christians like that, I'm drawn to non-Christians with pasts because of their tendency to be willing to LISTEN instead of immediately tell me what passage I need to read and adhere to in order to magically fix my life.

I'm attracted to REAL people, Christian or non-Christian, not the ones who hide behind a smoothly polished Jesus mask ("God is so good!! Never mind the fact that I'm suing my neighbor or that I steal from my office by taking care of my own business on the clock or that I slandered the pastor and other members at church behind their backs after the service today!! Praise Jesus, Amen!!")

They are always "dearly loved." GOD's love for them will never change. They are His prized possession. Unlike the love of man, God's love does not fluctuate toward them based on their lack of perfection. Rather, He died for them not while they were righteous, nor while they were good, but while they were "sinners." Another place says they were "enemies" at the time (Rom. 5:9). Now that they've believed upon the Son, although they see imperfections within themselves, God loves them, for He loved them at their worst when He died. Their sins were not hidden from God when Jesus laid down His life for them, but many Christians are astonished when granted an additional revelation of their wickedness. They stand back shocked saying, "Surely, He did not die for this sin as well." But He did die for that sin; He died for all of them.
Thus, my response is they are "dearly loved," though they may never be capable of measuring that limitless love.

This is a very difficult question as christians come about as differently as any other person does, it's difficult to peg one thing. I really liked what Seoulsearch mentioned about people being real. I think that's an extremely important trait for anyone, and for me it's about half and half. Half the Christians I meet are very real, the other half just act holier than thou and throw scripture at you before they take the time to understand your situation.

The one thing that stuck out at me when I thought about this question could be a positive or a negative you can always count on Christians to have some level of conviction. I'm not really sure if that's the word I am looking for so to clarify myself, it seems like any Christian you will meet has a standard of beliefs and convictions that they are not willing to compromise, be it something as unnoticeable as refusing to back down from their belief in God, or something a little more noticeable like they think smoking and drinking is wrong. So it could be a positive thing if they refuse to back down, but negative if they feel the need to vocalize it to everyone and give 'em hell if they don't follow suit.

I went on a long rant so I'm done. Great post Zero.
