Finally, since ban reasons are not public,
Please forgive me if this is rude...or none of my business...but wouldn't it make it more clear if they were?
I mean, if we all understood what would get us banned, so we could avoid it? :)

Unless you mean, the reasons someone has been banned are just none of our business, in which case I wholeheartedly agree! :)

Thanks. And thank you all, and the moderators, for your ceaseless work here on our behalf. The site is such a blessing to me. ♥

In case you may be feeling disheartened at their loss here...
perhaps you did what the Lord wished you to do...and He will finish that work somewhere else? :)

Stephens a huckleberry...if he plays hard to get
and tries to talk you out of a brownie or cookie
dont think hes a bad guy thats just the customs
he grew up in.
Well, I don't know which is worse, a huckleberry or a squirrely old hickorynut!

I had meant that the reason that an individual has been banned is between them and site staff. It is rare that we make that information public.

...God bless every person reading this, with YouR TRUTH, AMEN!
I'm not going to quote the whole thing. even though it is worth reading...

I just wish to thank you for the testimony about healing. Not quite sure what you are discussing though.

I just wish to say, that I think that God wished to tell you that it wasn't his will for the healing to take place. A lot of people want to pray for the sick, but they forget to ask God before they walk up to the person whether they are allowed to pray for that particular person and wait for an answer.

I am pretty sure since you said this happened a couple of years ago, you know this already. But I love hearing about testimonies. It is much cooler than most discussions.

well for me at least. So thank you.

I enjoyed reading this entire thread, all of it. The reason is because, about 5 or 6 days ago I decided not to ever return to this site.Today I was just going to see if anything had changed. These postings here prompt me to return. If, as a Christian, I don't feel like I'm in a spiritual place that CLAIMS to be Christian, & the place I've just left makes me feel awful, then I will avoid that place. After reading this thread & seeing that the administrators do care that it is deemed a Christian place, it gives me more hope. After reading these posts from others, I see that others also feel the despair in SOME of the theology threads & other posts, as I do.I don't usually participate in theology discussions, because I don't think I can chANGE BRETHREN'S MINDS AS THE BIBLE SAYS we can, because I believe these are not the people the Bible was referring to. Instead,SOME of these are the people who have come to change OUR minds. I don't consider everyone a heretic tho. Some Chrisitans misinterpret. In answer to the op question, I have made absolutely no impact whatsoever on heretic threads.Although, I have given a heretic a "like" whenever they say something that is not heretic in nature, to encourage them to what is correct .
However, outside the "Bible diiscussion" forums, where people have doubts or fears, something I said or Scripture I pointed out, has helped & they thanked me etc, as someone else pointed out. But for the time I spent at this site, the helping I have done is very minimal, even a rarity.Eventually those people would have been hepled by someone else. As for those posters here who feel they are not intelligent enough to participate in any thread, you are mistaken. Sometimes the most simply stated posts are the ones most easily understood to get the point across.
This was the show stopper for me=People who call themselves Christians, then want to debate their beliefs that they KNOW are not in the Bible. Then there are others who participate in those threads who actually admit they know & say "But that is one of those Scirptures I dismiss because I don't agree with it". When I tried to participate in the abortion discussion which was started as a pro abortion thread,I showed Scripture where abortion was wrong, & I was called "sick & twisted" by another poster.(among other things). So basically, Some Christians do NOT look to the Bible to confirm their beliefs. Some posters at this site don't care what the Bible says & will admit it & be very rude to you because you go to Scripture for confirmation. They are looking for confirmation from other posters for their OWN beliefs, who also call themselves "Christians". I can't hang with that.

I'm glad you changed your mind! Maybe you can post some threads yourself.

You never know the impact a few words said from a loving heart can affect a person's life. Remember that nothing we do is wasted if we do it for the Glory of God.

I'm glad you decided to stick around. Don't be discouraged by the negative comments, just pray and remember its more important for you to be right with God then to have the praise of men.

My conclusion is, when you argue with a true heretic, all you will do is reap what you sow....... more arguments. Don't we have better things to do in the kingdom?.
