how about some more new forums...forums for short people and forums for people who love chocolate and people who are at their best in the morning and people who are at their best at night and people who wear sun glasses and people who catch buses and people who smile a lot and people who frown a lot..do you suppose we could have fifty more forums on here or do you think we are dividing up the body of Christ too much?

"A very good point well made."

However, I don't think the idea is to create division among people - but, rather - to group threads based on interest or purpose in a way that is "orderly"...

Any and every person can visit the different forums - based on their personal interests.

Yes - in all honesty - I believe that the recently added 'Filipino Christian Forum' and 'Indian Christian Forum' may be "pushing the envelope" a bit -- simply because they are not subject-matter-focused like the rest of the forums. And, they do represent "special consideration" (which may or may not be warranted). The end result of the developing pattern is:

American Christian Forum
Australian Christian Forum
Canadian Christian Forum
European Christian Forum
Mexican Christian Forum

.

So - yes - I see your point...

We should also be patient with the site admins while they "experiment" and "try out" different ideas... In the end, I believe (and hope) that everything will "settle" into a "comfortable arrangement" of forums.

By all means - we should voice our opinions and convictions - but, remembering also - the site owner can do what he wants... I believe he has good intentions. Give him a little space to work it out...?

Just a thought...

:)

It is my understanding that the India and Filipino forums were added because of relatively high usership from those countries and they have specific language barriers since the rest of the forums are specifically for English speakers. If we were to see high usership from South America it would be possible to add a Spanish forum, or an Arabic forum if the number of Middle Eastern users warranted.
